Whatever happened to the Classic Hawkeye costume...

Not a fan of the new costume, especially on the cover when it looks like PVC.

AUSSYACE - People realised it looked ridiculous. That and Marvel have to tie it into their big film. Cynical? Nope.

A/W is nice on the first one. Not keen on Davis's style any more. It's very well done, but not my cup of tea.

not a fan of hawkeye,i hope in the avengers film he makes me change my mind on the character.

Hawkeye's classic suit is waayyy too ridiculous for film. I mean, there would have been no getting over it, if they even tried for one second to emulate it for the big screen.

Especially when everyone else's costume looks fairly subdued.

I LOVE Alan Davis's style.

SuperDuperness - Hawkeye's classic suit was waaayyy to ridiculous for comics, never mind film. Ha ha.

Hawkeye looks really old in the first image.

I think the classic Hawkeye costume loks great on the page and this one loks weird but for film the avengers version is awesome
Ha1frican - 3/28/2012, 7:43 AM
If they hadn't used the OG Cap suit and went with a film or ultimates inspired version I might feel differently

Captain America's costume needs an update, seriously. I'm slowly getting bored of this look - as iconic as it may be.
