COMICS: DC Reveal Plans For Launch Of New LOBO And TRINITY OF SIN Ongoings This October
The reveal of the so-called real Lobo during last year's "Villains Month" caused a lot of controversy among comic book fans, so whether they'll embrace this new series remains to be seen. The official announcement reads, "If you find yourself rooting for the villains as much as the heroes, there’s a new series from Eisner Award-nominated writer Cullen Bunn and artist Reilly Brown coming your way: LOBO. The all-new Lobo brings the ultraviolence to this new ongoing solo series! But we'll also learn about the man behind the violence." Also announced by DC Comics today is Trinity of Sin from writer J.M. DeMatteis with art by Yvel Guichet and Jason Gordon. Forced to work together, this series picks up with the characters Pandora and the Stranger, following the ending of their solo series in September, and brings in The Question on a quest to save humanity and uncover the darkest secrets of the universe. What do you guys think of these?
The very different looking Lobo will be getting his own series this October, from the creative team of Cullen Bunn and Reilly Brown. The Trinity of Sin (The Question, Pandora and The Phantom Stranger) will also have their own ongoing, so hit the jump for details on both!
