Doopie - 4/22/2014, 8:45 AM
Steranko is one hell of an artist in my book
JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 8:47 AM
@ Omega

Covers and Movies look so much alike, huh I can see how anyone could get those words confused.
LEEE777 - 4/22/2014, 8:52 AM
BATMANIA month then! :P
Gusto - 4/22/2014, 8:53 AM

@ Omega

LOL! Three letters huh and that is all it takes to confuse someone of your caliber.
JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 8:56 AM
When Ben was announced as the new Batman it really had a profound effect on Gusto.

Yeah, Steranko's great.

Stuff like that reminds me what I was missing back when I was younger and actually thought I'd make a decent artist myself someday, namely- the ability to fashion a pair of bazooms without grabbing the nearest rubber ball for "size reference", and a little something called "talent".

I sucked.
cipher - 4/22/2014, 8:58 AM
Seriously, though, I love this guy's stuff. That cover's awesome.
SCURVYDOG619 - 4/22/2014, 9:02 AM
Steranko is the definition of LEGEND.

Kang - 4/22/2014, 9:02 AM
Batman is winning!
nibs - 4/22/2014, 9:02 AM
Damn gusto just fainted when he read this

nibs - 4/22/2014, 9:04 AM
Then gusto made his usual request:

Mrcool210 - 4/22/2014, 9:05 AM
AQUAMAN COVER WITH BATMAN ON IT.....Batman appears nowhere in the story. I know its the 75th anniversary but thats damn close to false advertising
MrDonut - 4/22/2014, 9:07 AM
Celebrate it by releasing a [frick]ing shot of the suit lol
JillyMcBeam - 4/22/2014, 9:14 AM
Isn't he already on every damn cover?
Spock0Clock - 4/22/2014, 9:15 AM
A man dressed as a bat?! This will never catch on.
Nomis - 4/22/2014, 9:17 AM
@ GizmoEl - LOL! I was gonna say that. ;)
sintzu - 4/22/2014, 9:22 AM
poor superman he didn't get anything like this for his anniversary well then again batman is the face of dc and wb so it's natural they put extra effort into his anniversary which i hope includes a blu-ray release of the animated series and batman beyond
Nomis - 4/22/2014, 9:22 AM
Jim Steranko is the Jimi Hendrix of comic book artist.

His mainstream output was minimal... but had a MASSIVE effect on the medium!

BlackIceJoe - 4/22/2014, 9:22 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember DC doing this for Superman a few years back? Will DC also being doing this for Wonder Woman in a few years? Look I really like Batman. But he doesn't need extra exposure. We all get it Batman is WB's number 1 cash cow. But some times people just want to read a comic that doesn't have Batman.
HBarnill - 4/22/2014, 9:22 AM
You can never have enough Batman. He's the greatest hero ever.
JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 9:24 AM
@ sintzu

Agree Supes got the shaft even know Supes started it all. Batman though is beyond the face of DC/WB, heck that character is so engrained in pop cultural it is crazy.
JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 9:25 AM
@ BlackIceJoe

LOL! You do not remember it just happened last year.........agree even though Supes is widely known and very iconic he is not as popular as Batman. But imagine when you combine Superman and Batman on the big screen?!?!?!?!?!
Doopie - 4/22/2014, 9:26 AM

couldn't agree more. that hulk cover which spawned so many imitations. his stuff on Nick Fury and X-Men were fantastic. love the way he draws cyclops
TheRationalOne - 4/22/2014, 9:27 AM
How is this different from any other month at DC Comics?
Nomis - 4/22/2014, 9:27 AM
uh,what?... SUPERMAN GOT A NEW MOVIE FOR HIS 75th Anniversary!

JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 9:28 AM
To me the most iconic superhero characters are the following

1. Superman
2. Batman
3. WonderWoman
4. Spider-Man
5. Hulk
6. Captain America
7. Joker
8. Green Goblin
ManCalledSting - 4/22/2014, 9:29 AM
As he should.
JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 9:30 AM
Infact Nomis dress up for the occasion!

JoeMomma29 - 4/22/2014, 9:31 AM
