BigDamnHero - 9/9/2012, 12:06 PM
@splenda, I guess so... The zero issues are supposed to be jumping on points, so give it a shot.
UVLantern - 9/9/2012, 12:13 PM
Terrible art yet again
TheOzmaofOz - 9/9/2012, 12:20 PM
Capullo and Humberto Ramos are my two favorite artists. Can't wait for this. Joker arc starts next month.
Valandil - 9/9/2012, 12:27 PM
I can understand why he is not famous in spanish speaking regions.
LAWLZY96 - 9/9/2012, 12:30 PM
hahaha people either love capullo or hate him apparently
pesmerga44 - 9/9/2012, 12:45 PM
Why does Gordon look like he is in his mid twenties. I mean don't give him this bright red hair he looks way to young.
cmax - 9/9/2012, 12:51 PM
looks like the most boring first 5 pages
Bandido - 9/9/2012, 1:03 PM
@cipher: lol right? that comment is kind of unusual coming from him but anyways i really like the art, this team has not disappointed me at all and I am very much looking forward to this :)
jimoakley666 - 9/9/2012, 1:06 PM
Great artwork from Greg, as always.
TheOzmaofOz - 9/9/2012, 1:18 PM
@cmax Then don't read it, virgin.
PaulKemp - 9/9/2012, 1:21 PM
Greg's work looks decent but the coloring is unimpressive. Almost looks like an old copy of American Flag. Cover is lame.
jimpinto24 - 9/9/2012, 1:25 PM
The art is awesome.
Asterisk - 9/9/2012, 1:40 PM
I love this book. Snyder is just THE best.
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 9/9/2012, 1:44 PM
Anyone remember the Spawn/Batman that McFarlane drew in the 90's? I always wanted him to come back to Batman after seeing that! It was so much better then his old Batman stuff he did!
marvel72 - 9/9/2012, 2:55 PM
the only batman comic that i can be arsed with, its very good comic book.

capullo arkwork has always been good, well it has for the big three.

IIIAdamantiumIII - 9/9/2012, 2:55 PM
I think Grif got Laid
DTor91 - 9/9/2012, 4:26 PM
To you guys saying the art is mediocre or terrible, HAHA! I'd like to see you guys do better.
maxxgone - 9/9/2012, 4:33 PM
@bandido & cipher

guys go through posts from a couple weeks back and i shit you not, grif's posts have progressively been getting more and more positive.

i stopped reading his attention seeking bullshit a while ago, but i couldn't help but take notice when the town crier makes a 180.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 9/9/2012, 4:44 PM
capullo is an amazing [frick]in artist.
RSDhillon - 9/9/2012, 4:53 PM
Nice. I just read Batman vol. 1: Court of Owls. Really like the Snyder/Capullo combo.
RSDhillon - 9/9/2012, 5:10 PM
Also, is the cover an homage to Batman:Year One? Looks like it!
Wildaniel - 9/9/2012, 5:32 PM
The Red Hood Gang? This should be good.

For those of you who have not been reading Snyder's Batman, this is the start for you. After this #0 issue a new story arc starts with #13, with The Joker!
aquaman52 - 9/9/2012, 6:34 PM
I bought the first few of the new 52 Batman series but stopped. Considering getting back in at #0.
mgeoff88 - 9/9/2012, 7:44 PM
This issue will answer a lot of questions.

I think DC should have started with issues #0 instead of making all the stories take place five years in the future.

@starfighter Awesome avatar! RDA is a boss. :)

@TheOzmaofOz What is it with you calling people virgins for stating their opinions? Even if it's negative, it doesn't automatically mean they're a virgin.

Some people are just tough critics.
blite32 - 9/9/2012, 7:55 PM
Greg Capullos art reminds me of Batman TAS and The Batman tv shows... I like it
Grimm - 9/9/2012, 9:52 PM
He's a top-notch artist... I like this look.
Grimm - 9/9/2012, 9:55 PM
BTW... I'm with Grif... I will start reading Batman from here.
Superheromovies2000 - 9/9/2012, 10:13 PM
Wait a min If this is connected to "Batman Earth one" why is Alfred so old? Alfred had a head full of hair & was younger than this...
GoILL - 9/9/2012, 10:22 PM
Looks good.
HarrisonBergeron - 9/9/2012, 10:27 PM
Who said anything about it being connected to "Batman Earth One"?

Aeyan - 9/9/2012, 11:32 PM
The way he draws Bruce Wayne makes him look like a sucker. He looks too soft and girly-like. I'm not feeling it.
CapeWing - 9/10/2012, 5:12 AM
As I have said time and time again about being a Batman fan since I was a boy. This team...these two guys Snyder and Capullo are the only two guys I wanna see working on Batman. They get it. The stories, the art, the dark gritty feel to the comics and just...everything, they get it. This "Zero" issue I am sure will be as great as all of their stories have been so far.
HonestFan - 9/10/2012, 8:52 AM
Your nuts if you think the art stinks. It's perfect. The story-telling in this title is the VERY best of ANY of the NEW 52. This is a must-read and if you can, go back and purchase every New 52 Batman title you can (there's only like 12 or so). YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. It's really THAT good.
