Cully Hamner is amazing. There are just too damn many expensive annuals coming out this week.

That's some baaaaad art. They should always give Supes the best artist possible.
XavierLehnsherr - 10/30/2012, 5:34 PM
I prefer Kreuk-tonite.

Pun intended.

seems like a rip off of metallo to me but its a human this time instead of a robot great artwork though
DetBullock - 10/30/2012, 5:40 PM
@UltimateSupermanBatman: The Kryptonite man is a classic Superman villain, can't say which came first of the two though.
M3T4LL0 - 10/30/2012, 5:51 PM
Art looks horrible.
KaneVonDoom - 10/30/2012, 6:00 PM
Damn, they brought Kryptonite Man outta the woodwork...
jimpinto24 - 10/30/2012, 6:04 PM
Decent artwork. But I'm looking forward to seeing how the stoy arc between Superman vs Kryptonite Man plays out.
ShadowOfTheWeb - 10/30/2012, 6:23 PM
that artwork is fantastic. best looking new 52 supes I've seen
RSDhillon - 10/30/2012, 6:40 PM
Love Cully Hammer's art. Ya'll should look at his New 52 redesign sketches. Makes Superman's costume look less plate-armor.
TheManWithBigEars - 10/30/2012, 7:40 PM
This art feels very fitting 4 Supes, at least it aint some retro look crap
FightAs0ne - 10/30/2012, 8:29 PM
@XavierLehnsherr Damn dude that episode still hurts.
SpideyQuad - 10/30/2012, 9:29 PM
The first thing I see is a corny line ripped right from "Superman 2" making me think a 12-year-old wrote this.

Then I focus on the art, if you are generous enough to call it that. I mean God this stuff is terrible. Is this the best they can do? Marvel has been putting out garbage also. What's up with comic books today? Can't anyone draw anymore? I thought Amazing Spiderman was bad a few years ago…
113 - 10/30/2012, 9:30 PM
Stupid. Reminds me of "Nuclear Man" from Superman IV
rbfn04 - 10/30/2012, 11:10 PM
Cause nothing says "I'm Superman"like an armor...
AmazingFantasy - 10/31/2012, 3:44 AM
Well see...
rbfn04 - 10/31/2012, 7:14 AM
@113 sure, let's just ignore that Kryptonite Man is way older than that...
NextHero08 - 10/31/2012, 8:42 AM
That just seems kinda cheesy and convenient. I mean we already have Metallo and Lex Luthor uses kryptonite like it's going outta style. I gotta do some more research on this guy.
SpideyQuad - 10/31/2012, 8:48 AM
Kryptonite Man? It looks like "CULLY HAMNER, RYAN SOOK are doing a good enough job at messing up the Man of steel on their own!
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 10/31/2012, 11:56 AM
Wow, I remember. Kryptonite man from the lstd 60's and 70's. I want to see how Suoes handles this. From what is being said, this is his first run in with kryptonite.
RSDhillon - 10/31/2012, 12:22 PM
I'm surprised at the people who are unaware of classic characters here. "Fans" never cease to amaze me. I like the art, and I like Kryptonite Man.
comicle199 - 10/31/2012, 12:32 PM
i happen to really like the art and i personally think it would suck if all they did was keep the same few artists on superman because some people think there better
Ichaos - 10/31/2012, 11:28 PM
Crap art. looks like some highschool fan boy drew it. Some shots he looked more like Bizzaro. Oh and of course shortless look looks bad.
AC1 - 11/1/2012, 3:42 AM
Not a fan of the art, but it's always interesting when comic book artists draw Superman looking like Christopher Reeve; just shows how much of a cultural phenomenon his Superman movies were.

Kryptonite Man looks like Magnum PI with added soul patch. Never heard of the character, not a massive comic book reader, only select graphic novels and TPBs.
