COMICS: Preview HELLBLAZER #300 (Final Issue)

Check out this preview for the final issue of Vertigo's Hellblazer starring John Constantine. After twenty-five years, Vertigo's longest-running comic book has one last scam from Constantine ahead of his New 52 solo series.

It’s the heart-rending conclusion of “DEATH AND CIGARETTES”—and the end of Vertigo’s longest running series. John Constantine has escaped, cheated, narrowly avoided and even reversed death on multiple occasions over the past 25 years. Now, we will test whether the old boy has one more second chance in him. Don’t miss this epic, oversized special issue celebrating everything that makes John Constantine so bloody unique.

DC since the new 52 began have been pissing me off with they're editorial mandates, but this took the crown. Hellblazer can not work as a none vertigo book it just can't without being dumbed down and stripping it of everything that makes it what it is. The content, language and ideas presented do not belong in a book outside of things like vertigo and MAX. Now where getting an extremely toned down Constantine, and as someone who is also from the same place as John Constantine (liverpool) it pisses me off even more.

Arguably people said that about Swamp Thing and Animal Man
