Excerpt From Rob Liefeld's ICONS Script, Based On The Highs And Lows Of Launching IMAGE

Also, Liefeld has given his recommendations for who should play himself and his Image co-founders. Chris Pine as Liefeld, John Cho as Jim Lee, Christian Bale as Todd McFarlane and more. Regardless of what you think about Rob this would definitely be an interesting movie.

Icons by Rob Liefeld

Image Comics was founded in 1992 by Todd McFarlane, Jim Lee, Marc Silvestri, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino, and of course, Liefeld. At the time, these were the Scott Snyders' and Brian Michael Bendis' of the comic industry. Plagued by massive shipping delays and infighting, the initial model for Image collapsed in 1996 with Liefeld's resignation as CEO. There's MUCH more to this story but I won't spoil it here because if this does become a movie, it would be a DAMN good one.

Below you can read a few excerpts from Liefeld's script. The comic creator has stated that he'll share it with any of the Image founders who ask. Plus, he's also given some casting suggestions as to who he'd like to see portray himself and his peers. Be sure to head over to DreamMovieCast and give them some traffic for this awesome story.
