gastitdk - 5/26/2013, 12:17 PM

NightWatcher - 5/26/2013, 12:18 PM
@Theblackwolverine That's awesome!!
TheRationalNerd - 5/26/2013, 12:20 PM

You weren't referring to me, because I think that green armor for Hulk I posted looked sick! lol No worries bro...
TheAcidSkull - 5/26/2013, 12:20 PM
The art is Meh, but Walt will be leaving after this issue, and stop [frick]ing bitching about the armor.
SpectacularJoSh - 5/26/2013, 12:20 PM
The art sucks ass but I kinda liked Banner's theory on why Mjolnir can't be lifted by anyone.
TheRationalNerd - 5/26/2013, 12:21 PM

I know right???

Hulk in Iron Man armor = Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE)is [frick]ed!!! lol
TheRationalNerd - 5/26/2013, 12:24 PM

That pic I posted was in response to DoubleDion's comment, just if you thought I was bitching. :)
osideous - 5/26/2013, 12:25 PM
damn with Lienil gone the art suffered. and for the [frick]ing umpteenth time the armor is bruce banner, not for the hulk.
ATrueHero1987 - 5/26/2013, 12:27 PM
Waist knows how to write great [frick]ing comics!
DioFoRio - 5/26/2013, 12:37 PM

TheSuperguy - 5/26/2013, 12:41 PM
I think Mark Waid is doing a great job with the Hulk. Really enjoying this new take on it.
TheAcidSkull - 5/26/2013, 12:54 PM
@TheBlackWidow Not at all bud :)
I was saying in general, and the story here is amazing, i love waid.
Demongod20 - 5/26/2013, 1:07 PM
The art looks like doo doo.
marvel72 - 5/26/2013, 1:42 PM
no respect for one of the greatest comic book artists ever!

walt simonson thor run is quite possibly the greatest run on the mighty thor.

Spartan - 5/26/2013, 2:01 PM
Don't ever put Simonson in the same category as Liefeld!
Simonson goes with Thor like Peanut Butter and Jelly.
jlabatman - 5/26/2013, 2:10 PM
marvel 72-correction-walt simonson thor run is the greatest run on the mighty thor! I know this is what you meant because it truly is the best!
DioFoRio - 5/26/2013, 2:36 PM
I knew some people who knew what was up would comment!
marvel72 - 5/26/2013, 2:43 PM
@ jlabatman

CharlesLord - 5/26/2013, 3:08 PM
ive actually been enjoying indestructible hulk. the armor doesnt bother me. The art isnt that great tho I will admit lol
kneelbe4zod - 5/26/2013, 3:28 PM

That art looks like crap!
BlueDemon - 5/26/2013, 4:51 PM
Look up Legendary Thor artists and see what comes up D-bags.
Daquietman - 5/26/2013, 8:09 PM
One cannot deny Walt Simonson and Thor go together like Jim Lee and the Xmen. I think Marvel screwed up when they started having Banner switch form from one to the other. I will also admit Peter David was a better writer, and they are becoming all disneyed. I really want the Hulk to have a movie with the Leader as the villian with true smashing and not the horrible agents of smash. That is going to be one show that won't last. Marvel/disney is forgetting the awesome history of the Hulk. Also, good to see Thor is his classic togs. Just a sucker for the classics. Also hoping Man of steel does well, DC needs to start competing so all comic fans win and helps Marvel keep doing what they do.... I just think it would be righteous to see a DC vs Marvel movie, but that won't happen in my lifetime but one can hope. Right?
ScionStorm - 5/26/2013, 8:53 PM
Walt Simonson's unique style is awesome. I just don't think the colorist they stuck him with knows what to do with his art. Sad.

birdfists - 5/26/2013, 9:41 PM
I think this looks really good. I haven't read it at all, but I think Bruce wearing armor makes sense, to keep him safe/from hulking out by accident, and so when he hulks out instead of his armor being destroyed, it shifts to fit Hulk.
jimoakley666 - 5/27/2013, 1:37 AM
Walt IS a leg-end. It's undeniable and anyone who says any different is a moron.

However, not quite feeling it on this run. I can imagine it's down to deadlines more than anything though.

Thor needs to be in his new kit too. Did they not give him refs or did he willfully ignore them?

marvel72 - 5/27/2013, 3:15 AM
@ jimoakley666

i'm sure i read in this story that the hulk & his team traveled back in time,so this thor as never met the hulk.

so it would be his old costume.
AnungUnRama - 5/27/2013, 4:32 AM
I like the scientific approach to Mjölnir's power. Should use it in the MCU. It was so great when they explained magic as science we don't understand yet and Asgardian "gods" as powerfull aliens. Sad they left that path and rather started using the god term in Avengers and IM3 recently.
dezdigi - 5/27/2013, 8:25 AM
Man, those covers bring back memories. I really gotta get my comics out of my sister's attic!
Cosmo - 5/27/2013, 7:26 PM
Read the Archie Goodwin/Walt Simonson series "Manhunter." That is probably Walt's best work outside of Thor. That, and his "Alien" movie adaptation.
Alvahnomicron - 5/27/2013, 9:57 PM
Without Walt Simonson, there'd BE no Lenil Francis Yu.
NillaSoul - 5/28/2013, 12:28 AM
Simonson's artwork is actually art when you're talking Thor.
