After Hickman's run, the FF looks just awful... I have zero desire to read this comic.
xcrementus - 10/11/2012, 7:06 PM
Lang. total champion. Can't wait to pick this up, Allred's art is on fire lately.

I'm a HUGE Fantastic Four fan! I'm looking forward to reading issue #1. Also good art from Mark Bagley. I'm glad Matt Fraction decided to keep the black & white outfits for the Fantastic Four.

Doesn't look too bad.
JustDame - 10/11/2012, 7:11 PM
allred is phucking fantastic
Boekelaar - 10/11/2012, 7:13 PM
Is it normal for Scott Lang to talk about crying in the shower?
skidz - 10/11/2012, 7:13 PM
It's been a while since Alred's popped in anything superhero oriented.
TheGambitFreak - 10/11/2012, 7:14 PM
Why does the art in FF look like it is from the 50's?
Temple - 10/11/2012, 7:46 PM
Looks like fraction is gunna compete with hickmans fantastic four run, looks crazy good. FF looks very creative, antmans cool. Imma look out for these.
Howlett - 10/11/2012, 7:52 PM
Mike's art reminds me of the good ol' 80's.

I'm really loving both. FF looks really good, but I have no interest in anyone other than Lang. But Fantastic Four differently is a pick up. No doubt about that.

C'mon Hickman run on FF was awesome ! I'm sure Fraction's run on FF will be good
loki668 - 10/12/2012, 12:00 AM
FF stands for "[frick]ing foul". At least, that's always been my impression of Allred's art. I never was a fan.

Lord Loki has spoken

marvel72 - 10/12/2012, 5:34 AM
fantastic four - i'm up for giving it a chance.

ff - as for this, shit! would be to good a reveiw for this book.
xcrementus - 10/12/2012, 6:17 AM
great review, marvel72. But how did you manage to read it so early?
A vote against Allred is a vote against life itself. His Doop issue of Wolv & the XMen was stellar.
jimoakley666 - 10/12/2012, 6:37 AM
FF looks great. Don't know if I'll pick it up though.
plasticman - 10/12/2012, 6:39 AM
Can Allred change my mind about FF simply based off his artistic talent? Can it overcome the silliness of Miss Thing?
marvel72 - 10/12/2012, 7:07 AM
@ xcrementus

okay i haven't read it but that artwork is not what i want to see in a comic & ms.thing is total shit.
xcrementus - 10/12/2012, 7:23 AM
from what Fraction said, Ms Thing is supposed to be a joke character, a girl Johnny just dumps there last second after a date i believe. I'm fine with it as long as its funny.
thetrojan - 10/12/2012, 7:51 AM
mike allred is on his way to becoming a comics legend.
He has not reached his peak, and will blow us all away in the future.
NorrinRaddical - 10/12/2012, 8:39 AM
LOVE Allred. I can't believe more people here don't
jasonicus - 10/12/2012, 11:03 AM
FF looks like it was drawn in the 60's. Just terrible.
xcrementus - 10/12/2012, 7:13 PM
so Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko are terrible too?
TrueBlue - 10/12/2012, 9:07 PM

Lang's daughter Cassie(Stature from Young Avengers) was killed at the end of "The Children's Crusade". Doom was behind the whole thing which is why Lang is pissed at Doom.
