COMICS: First Marvel NOW! Look At Dog Logan In WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN #26

We knew Wolverine's estranged brother from the Origins comic was coming back, but he wasn't glimpsed in the preview of Wolverine & The X-Men #25. Well he most definitely is in the following preview for the next issue! See the clash of the Logans after the jump..

• Jason Aaron and Eisner-Award winning best artist Ramón Pérez continue the arc that readers will remember for years to come.
• Dog Logan is back and Wolverine is in for a world of hurt.
• The students are on their own in the Savage Land with no supervision. Uh-oh.

GLprime2814 - 2/15/2013, 11:24 AM
I don't remember him having powers, it's been years since i last read origins so don't know why he would be in the present.
But I agree with you,why?
dezdigi - 2/15/2013, 11:26 AM

In the Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine mini series, Dog encounters Spider-Man, who had been travelling through time. Dog enters a mine containing the glowing diamonds responsible for Spider-Man's time travel. The diamonds send him to the present day.

I thought sabertooth was dog or did they Re-con that
jimoakley666 - 2/15/2013, 12:54 PM
Logan kicked Dog's arse before, so after 100 years of getting better and becoming "the best at what he does", this fight really shouldn't last too long.

Is he a mutant? Last time I saw him (Wolverine Origins) he had his face scarred by Wolverine, but now it looks healed, perhaps he developed healing powers like Wolverine after the events of WO, that would explain that and the fact that he can be a match to Wolvie.
GLprime2814 - 2/15/2013, 1:58 PM
But Seriously? Seems like a lazy fix.
LAWLZY96 - 2/15/2013, 4:41 PM
I prefer the idea that Dog was Sabertooth. I know it was never intended to be that way, but it still kinda worked out that it could be possible and I think it makes sense.
XavierLehnsherr - 2/15/2013, 6:42 PM
I liked X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and I agree that Dog should've been Sabertooth.

And I own X-Men (1st series) #94-#350, and the one thing I learned from all those years is to appreciate creative ideas that make sense.

Unlike those idiots who hated that their 2 hour movie couldn't tell the story EXACTLY like their 50 years of X-Men comics.

Comics each take 5 minutes to read, there are 12 of each per year means an hour of entertainment is equal to 1 year of comics issues for any one series.

So even if there was only 1 X-Men comic book this whole time, for the past 50 years, it would take 50 hours of movie time to tell that one comic.

It would take 25 movies to tell the story of that 1 comic.

norseman79 - 2/15/2013, 10:14 PM

Your ridiculous notion that 1 hour of movie = 1 year of comics is laughable.

The movie sucked. It was poorly written, and they took idiotic liberties with the source material. That's all there is to it.

Hooray for you that you liked it. You're in the very small minority.

Disagreeing with you doesn't make people morons, jackass.

Your post assuredly confirms that status for you, however.
loki668 - 2/15/2013, 11:45 PM
Nicely put. Some people can handle dissenting opinions. Some can not.

By the way, Wolverine's going to look really funny trying to walk around with Dog Logan's ass all over his foot. The guy has no powers, just some fancy tech. He's like a low budget Kraven.

Lord Loki has spoken
DaCottDamnBatman - 2/16/2013, 7:31 AM
So is Sabretooth related to Wolverine or not??
XavierLehnsherr - 2/16/2013, 8:51 PM

$374,000,000 is the minority?

Don't cry just cuz the facts urinate all over your worthless bravado, Norseman.

AztecRainGod - 2/16/2013, 9:49 PM
There is no way that Dog Logan DOESNT have powers. He was able to hold is own against Wolverine in a fight.

He was also able to track him a great distance, so we know he also has superhuman senses.
AztecRainGod - 2/16/2013, 10:33 PM
Hes also older than Wolverine, this would make him way over 100 years old. He probably has the same powers wolverine does, minus the claws.
