That art looks so terrible.

Well.....the cover is cool at least
Not saying the story isn't good it's seems he tried on the art in certain places and didn't with others

the art is tolerable, the writing is what keeps me reading.

but i do agree it could do with a better artist.

disagree about the artwork...look at the use of shadows, particularly on the final page. class. we can't se matt's eyes but totally understand his emotion. cover is also good

Samnee is one of those artists where either you love it or you hate it. I personally thought Rodriguez fid fantastic on the last issue and I hope they get Allred back for an issue or two with the relaunch.

Can't wait! Waid's been doing an amazing job on this series

Best comic book series out there IMO.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/11/2014, 10:30 AM

Agree! Amazing book! How could you not love the art? To me it looks like Bruce Timm's work.

If everything looked like Jim Lee art it would be so boring. Expand your horizons people. There's more than one kind of comic art.

Fantastic art. That's pure storytelling, can't understand how anyone could dislike it.

The art is amazing on this book. Anyone that would down on that storytelling has weird tastes. The inks and color are top notch too, and they've illustrated the radar sense in some refreshing ways.
FoneBone - 1/11/2014, 11:35 AM
What's funny is, this is the only site where people dislike this type of art. Seriously, if you go to any other site, anywhere else, everyone admires this type of art. I sound like an expert (since I am an artist), so I should do an editorial on art one of these days.
FoneBone - 1/11/2014, 11:38 AM
And Kevin Smith's run on Daredevil is amazing, just recently read it (I know I'm late).

@ALmight agree 100% DD has been fantastic for many years. Over a decade imo.

The writing on this book has been great, hope it continues into the next series and the artwork is alright,it kinda grows on you.
ThePowerCosmic - 1/11/2014, 10:01 PM

Are you Jeff Smith Creator of Bone?
JustDame - 1/11/2014, 10:51 PM
Samnee will be a legend. He's incredible. Not many artists can put emotion in characters face like him. Waid and Samnee is probably the best team out there. I love how they give Samnee credit as a story teller. They did it with Rodriguez last issue too
