COMICS: Friends Become Enemies in FANTASTIC FOUR #6; A Tie-In To ORIGINAL SIN

This June, the fall of the first family continues in the explosive Fantastic Four #6, a tie-in to Original Sin from Eisner-award winning writer James Robinson, fan-favorite artist Leonard Kirk and the peerless Dean Haspiel. Hit the jump to check it out!

They’ve been a family ever since that fateful day they ventured into the cosmic unknown, the day the Fantastic Four were born.

Bonded together as family, Johnny Storm became the hot-headed Human Torch while Ben Grimm became the hideous monster known only as The Thing. Try as he may, super-scientist Reed Richards was never able to reverse the process and return Ben to his normal form. It is a failure that has haunted him to this very day. But what does Johnny have to do with Ben’s irreparable condition? And why has he lied about it all this time?

Now, thanks to the events of Original Sin, Ben Grimm is about to learn that his closest ally has condemned him to a life sentence as a monster. And he won’t be happy about it! Bruised, beaten and broken both emotionally and physically, is this the end for the Fantastic Four? The dismantling of the first family continues as Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben crash headlong into Original Sin this June in FANTASTIC FOUR #6!

The Thing has muscles under his rocky skin? I thought he was just one huge boulder.

Re-hashing the same tired story line, again, and again, and again.....
hush - 6/2/2014, 10:01 AM
Can the 'family' remain friends for longer than one run?
ChuckV - 6/2/2014, 10:02 AM
Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch is WHITE??????
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 10:10 AM
This can't be right - rob liefield said marvel wasn't publishing failtatsic four or XMEN
2gold - 6/2/2014, 10:10 AM
I can't imagine anyone wanting to be around Mr Fantastic for a long period of time, dude is such a dick.
JorL5150 - 6/2/2014, 10:10 AM
I think we can all agree that drawing Johnny is rascist
WeddingTux - 6/2/2014, 10:18 AM
cancel this outdated racist fan-fiction and give us the true, definitive, iconic Johnny Storm, Michael b jordan! dig up the dead rotting corpse of Chronicle's Steve Montgomery and set it on fire
yossarian - 6/2/2014, 10:24 AM
Is Tucks going to admit he was wrong and apologize for his F4 movie reboot shenanigans?

I kind of like the art.
JoJo1982 - 6/2/2014, 10:32 AM
Oh yeah it looks like Marvel is pulling the FF off the shelf now *being sarcastic* lol

I told y'all that article earlier sounded like some BS

Gusto - 6/2/2014, 10:48 AM
I know. I'm so [frick]ing confused.
GLprime2814 - 6/2/2014, 10:52 AM
I can't remember last rime a hero fought a villain, I long for the days when they used to stop crime.
Ramiel - 6/2/2014, 11:00 AM
I like how Thor is not fazed by Sue's shield blast.
AstonishingArachnid - 6/2/2014, 11:08 AM
@Ramiel Yeah you can see the different power levels amongst the characters. Hulk and Thor are barely fazed. Luke Cage is partially effected, and everyone else is sent flying.
GadoTheLion - 6/2/2014, 11:08 AM
you know you didn't have to make a event to have ben beat the piss out of johnny
Bearjew - 6/2/2014, 11:09 AM
Reboot the marvel universe. The Ultimate universe was really cool when it started, Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men and the Ultimates, even the Ultimate Fantastic Four were awesome. Just do it right where you don't kill everyone off or change absolutely everything, just shift things. [foo foo].
genesis609 - 6/2/2014, 11:17 AM
MercwithMouth - 6/2/2014, 11:19 AM
This article is BS. Marvel is obviously not publishing anything related to FF.
JacksonVegaIII - 6/2/2014, 11:22 AM
that last page of art is horrendous, i understand each page cant be the quality of the covers but come on that art is shit
malschla - 6/2/2014, 11:24 AM
Did anybody read Original Sin? Is it good?
TheDpool - 6/2/2014, 12:11 PM
I want to know what Johnny did already so I can move on with my life and not care.....
sinthegreat - 6/2/2014, 12:17 PM
No we don't need to reboot the marvel universe. Then all they would do is rehase old story lines. Just get better writers who can tell compelling stories
mikefont - 6/2/2014, 12:24 PM
fan-favorite artist Leonard Kirk???? WTF...that is some TERRIBLE artwork!
Pheezmatic - 6/2/2014, 12:39 PM
[frick] this! I'm gunna go drop some LSD :)
KrazyForKomix - 6/2/2014, 1:14 PM
Every reboot, every major mega-crossover epic, every splashtastic revelation . . . it's all just white noise now. It's too much all the time. None of this is building toward a strong interesting Marvel Universe. It's all just writers taking the character(s) of choice and twisting them into pretzel versions of what they actually are at the core.

I wonder what the next mega-contrivance will be so that all the heroes can continue fighting each other.
grif - 6/2/2014, 1:35 PM
its [frick]ing 2014 why cant they come up with a cool looking fantastic car?
ScionStorm - 6/2/2014, 2:22 PM
Lol the IQ of this comment thread is pretty low. It's entertaining.
Shadowelfz - 6/2/2014, 2:27 PM
Oooooh look its heroes verses heroes again! How original Marvel!
staypuffed - 6/2/2014, 4:01 PM
I am enjoying this series. Good art.
Jobin - 6/2/2014, 4:12 PM

I dont know why, but that makes no sense to me. What does it mean....I think it means "click the link", if so DUH. I mean why even put it???

Why not..."READ THE ARTICLE" Seriously...what is a jump? I suppose it means once you click, you will be "jumped" to a different page....but again..DUH.

Sorry, rant over.
WeddingTux - 6/2/2014, 4:35 PM
@yossarian never

also, this isn't Tucks.
MightyZeus - 6/2/2014, 10:45 PM
So glad the F4 aren't getting cancelled. I always believed that Susan Storm was the more powerful out of the whole team and maybe even in the whole Marvel universe.
pepe - 6/3/2014, 4:41 AM
