idk but i think i heard fraction say that he wanted to end his run soon..i guess they decided to cancel it all together which tbh makes sense cause Fraction and Ajas run is just so amazing and without them..this volume of Hawkeye wouldnt feel right
MrCBM56 - 7/15/2014, 4:38 PM
What Matt Fraction and David Aja did to Hawkeye was phenomenal. This was my favorite comic out right now. This sucks :(

MrCBM56 - 7/15/2014, 4:39 PM
At least I still have Uncanny Avengers. Black Widow is pretty good too. Need to catch up on that.
MrCBM56 - 7/15/2014, 4:40 PM
Thor: God of Thunder was fantastic but that's ending too, I guess.
Ramiel - 7/15/2014, 4:41 PM
Cue the conspiracy theorists saying that Marvel is trying to ruin Marvel Studios success.

ATrueHero1987 - 7/15/2014, 4:46 PM
Thor is being relaunched this fall with Aaron still writing.
marvel72 - 7/15/2014, 4:47 PM
hawkeye is one of the best marvel titles it'll be a shame to see that title end,as for the thunderbolts well its not that great a title i can see why its being cancelled, warren ellis had the best run on the book.
staypuffed - 7/15/2014, 4:48 PM
I imagine Fraction didn't want to write Hawkeye forever, and had some sort of conclusion in mind.
KurtWagner1225 - 7/15/2014, 4:48 PM
Thors New look though imo is pretty kickass. they are calling The Unworthy Thor

MsDarkPhoenix - 7/15/2014, 4:51 PM
Hawkeye was my favorite by far and I actually kinda liked Thunderbolts too... It really sucks...
ATrueHero1987 - 7/15/2014, 4:59 PM
Were these titles selling well?
RexDartEskimoSpy - 7/15/2014, 5:00 PM
You'd think winning multiple Eisner awards would be enough to keep a book from being canceled. If only they'd put Wolverine on the cover more often.
KurtWagner1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:08 PM
AtrueHero1987-i know hawkeye was doing pretty well and was critically lauded..i dont think Thunderbolts was doing too well though

Bro, bro, bro, bro.
DrDoom - 7/15/2014, 5:18 PM
But Hawkeye is the best comic they have right now!

staypuffed - 7/15/2014, 5:21 PM
I don't think it's been CANCELLED. I think it's just ending.
KurtWagner1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:24 PM
in honor of Hawkeye, lets say our favorite moment from the series, they are so many but my favorite is when the tracksuit gangsters are going after Kate and Clint in a car ..the entire issue is a car chase and it is fricking awesome..The Tracksuit gangsters always say "BRO" after every sentence and Clint is just fed up and leans out of the car, launches his arrow and it covers the gangsters in putty and he goes "PUTTY ARROW, BRO!!!
KurtWagner1225 - 7/15/2014, 5:25 PM
plus, this comic hasa lot of humor, same with superior foes of spider man which is another great book and daredevil also has a fair bit of humor in it

Hey remember when they 'cancelled' Waid's Daredevil? Relax people. Marvel isn't stupid.
csdot - 7/15/2014, 6:40 PM
Wolverine will be back, Thor will be back, Cap will be back. It'll be ok.
BlackestKnight - 7/15/2014, 7:09 PM

Well, it seem to be MARVEL business ethos these days with their comics to stop a title before it reaches issue #30 and Start another volume again with a new #1 so it can get that quick buck from the more than usual amount of comics a new # 1 will sell to the one time collector...and then Start the process all over again!

This business "plan" will run thin soon, if it not already. with the regular fan base.
MightyZeus - 7/15/2014, 11:28 PM
Aww no, Hawkeye.
jimoakley666 - 7/16/2014, 12:04 AM
You go, Marvel. Cancel the [frick] out of your good titles and kill off your good character.

Fecking dipshits.
NitPicker - 7/16/2014, 1:24 AM
Now start a new series with the REAL Thunderbolts.

Haff - 7/16/2014, 2:44 AM
It'll be Waid's Daredevil all over again. Hawkeye #1 will be on the racks a month later. [frick]s sake Marvel.
sameoldthing - 7/16/2014, 6:04 AM
Soooo...Marvel drops 2 pretty damn cool titles & keeps how many other shit ones?
Oh boy, after many years of comic buying I don't seem to regret buying like I used to.
Every Wen. it was nearly a dozen titles, now maybe 3. It's a sad thing.
DutchMovieFan - 7/16/2014, 8:03 AM
Aww, Hawkeye, no... Come on bro...
dethpillow - 7/17/2014, 7:48 PM
awwww [frick]. i've been dreading this news.

it's been MIA for 3 months or something it feels like. it's a great run no doubt and i'm happy for that. i just really loved the way he wrote Kate, just on her own and also her relationship with Clint. great stuff.

i wanna see a Kate Bishop book, totally.

@ezio - i loved the one where all of Hawkeye's girlfriends showed up and he went on that crazy mission for the redhead. onto the turf of the tracksuit bros, and then ended up getting arrested and stuff. that was a cool one.

I loved also the flood one, where Kate had to go to that wedding and get that ladie's medicine.

and then also the Tape 2 issue thing. that was the first one i ever read, so it sticks out to me. i loved all the Madam Masque stuff with Kate mostly. such great stuff.

@staypuffed - I wonder if got kinda fed up cuz of that Inhumans nonsense. everyone was playing nice about that, but that's just a burn on him no matter how you talk about it later. he might've just been like.. dude, i don't need this shit, i got my own stuff to do. i bet he won't be back at Marvel for much in the future. total speculation, but it'd make sense.
dethpillow - 7/17/2014, 7:52 PM
some of the this Thunderbolts run has been pretty cool, but i can't say i'm broken up to see it go.
dethpillow - 7/17/2014, 7:56 PM
@ezio - yeah! totally love Superior Foes and it's just rad that it's managed to keep going. that's one of the my favorites right now in a lot of ways. there was a couple months where they had guest writers and it sucked and i thought it was ending for sure, but Spencer's back and it's purely great again.

that's one that i can imagine a lot of people overlooking, thinking it's a Spider-Man book or connected to Doc Ock or something.

so on West Coast it's looking like now we got Kate Bishop, Iron Man, Daredevil, and that kid Ghost Whip Rider. is Punisher still in LA in his title?
