It's always bloody war. I wonder if this one will have superheroes fighting!!:)
SpideyQuad - 6/27/2012, 6:45 AM
So what, the Hulk would squish Steel. What exactly is your point?
hellfire - 6/27/2012, 6:45 AM
This time it's personal... well More personal than last time... last time I was extremely miffed
BlueScarab - 6/27/2012, 6:47 AM
hehehe i am starting to be a big fan of JokerEl
hellfire - 6/27/2012, 6:58 AM
Well you don't mess with supes while he's sporting that full beard of his. How does he shave by the way because after all these years he must be carrying round some major jungle foliage down below.
Masterpace - 6/27/2012, 6:59 AM
@JokerEl...Man...all you need is green stone.
thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:16 AM

Dude, I don't know if your trolling or not but I miss this kind of silly banters. Back when I was still a lurker on this site people start debates like this and it's fun to read all the comments, sometimes Marvel wins sometimes DC.

Then a group of d-bags showed up and everything went to shit.
thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:17 AM

Dude, I hope you're right with the Ultron thingy.
hellfire - 6/27/2012, 7:17 AM
What if

chujong - 6/27/2012, 7:18 AM
So how did this become a "Superman vs" thread? LOL!

I like the artwork of these teasers.
thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:18 AM
Superman can beat anyone

thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:25 AM
Superman doesn't care if you're a villain or not.

hellfire - 6/27/2012, 7:26 AM
^^^^ LOL
MrsTonyStark0507 - 6/27/2012, 7:30 AM
This is so ridiculous! It is completely turning me off to whatever this nonsense is. Breaking Mjolnir, blood on Cap's shield and two bullets to Iron Man's head? Why would anyone want to read this? :(
thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:30 AM

Dumegg - 6/27/2012, 7:31 AM
@ Jokerel - superman sucks. He's an old washed up comic hero.
Nobody reads his books any more because he's boring. DC is
Having a real hard time selling his books, and thats because

SageMode - 6/27/2012, 7:41 AM
Why did this become an Iron Man vs Superman thread? Lol
thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:49 AM
Alright we are way off topic now.

Mjolnir is broken, blood on Cap's shield, bullet holes on IM's helmet. What's next? hmmmmm
DanteSparda - 6/27/2012, 7:51 AM
Wait... bullets...?

I hope this means that this event focuses in a war of super heroes against the rest of the world's population, perhaps society it's tired of super powered beings and have come to realize that super heroes do more damage that they prevent. Now that would be interesting.

thalidomide - 6/27/2012, 7:55 AM

Kinda like Civil War?
hoodedjester - 6/27/2012, 7:56 AM
anyone else getting tired of the war theme marvel has been doing for 3 years now - Civil war was cool but now it feels like they are beating the dead horse so to speak
DanteSparda - 6/27/2012, 8:11 AM
@monkeyballs3 "Watchmen"

Exactly, I just hope in this case it becomes a real war between the super heroes and the government, including SHIELD, also the government could hire super villains in the Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers fashion to face the ex heroes to balance things.
Anthrax - 6/27/2012, 8:19 AM
@jokerel stop being a troll this wasn't even a superman vs iron man but goddamnit you made it one and meanwhile I bate 52 superman prefer original
Anthrax - 6/27/2012, 8:20 AM
@Chloe I notliced that too
marvel72 - 6/27/2012, 8:50 AM
great image of ole shell head.

@ jokerel

did you know superman could never actually live on earth,do you know why?

its because you can find traces of krypton which is a chemical element in the air we breath,so if superman was breathing that in it wouldn't be doing himself any favors.

i suppose it would be as dangerous as smoking to us.
DanteSparda - 6/27/2012, 9:42 AM
True story bro.
Minato - 6/27/2012, 10:30 AM
IMO Superman is the most overrated and overpowered superhero of all time. There is literally no one in comics who stands a chance against him. Im tired of it Please stop posting BS of him blowing away galaxies, Beating up Hulk or Thor. The character has not had a compelling movie in 30 years and his secret identity is the dumbest of the major comics still. WB only puts out 2 characters of all DC comics and they still can't get past ZOD and Luthor. His rogues gallery is more interesting than the character himself. How is he so powerful and he still struggles with villains regularly? He can have Hulk punch him with all his might and not budge. He can be struck by Thors hammer and tell Thor that the dials go up to 11. I don't care about what he represents morally because he is constantly being defined as the ultimate warrior and tactician.

Im sorry I had to vent because lately people are posting random superman overpowered pics and bragging as if it represents them.
0ptimusCrime - 6/27/2012, 10:41 AM
@ Hush2010: +1
TexasAvenger - 6/27/2012, 10:49 AM
Superman sucks.
DanteSparda - 6/27/2012, 11:09 AM

You made me wonder, perhaps Superman is even stronger than the Hulk, but can he really stand against this other bald opponent?

goldenavenger77 - 6/27/2012, 12:22 PM

Supermans fine with me but change the record. This is the second article I have noticed you jump off topic sucking on Supermans chubby.
Dunejedi - 6/27/2012, 12:48 PM
@JokerEl Nice page of vintage Superman comic! Couple things though. . There are things that happen in comics that basically fall into one of two categories: 1) Things you CAN suspend your disbelief for, and 2) Things you CAN'T suspend your disbelief for. Now, these will vary per individual based on stuff like science-awareness, imagination, open-mindedness, etc. Superman (an alien whose physiology grants him superhuman powers EVERYWHERE in the universe except the place he was born). Sure, why not? A chain, big and strong enough to link a dozen+ worlds together? Well, ok, you're pushing it, but i've rolled with crazier notions to enjoy a comic. Moving planets away from their stars (y'know, the thingy's that support LIFE on those planets) and not killing all life on said planets? NO. No way. No way in Hell.

Superboy/Superman = Greatest Mass Murderer In Comics Ever.

Thanks, that was fun!
Minato - 6/27/2012, 12:51 PM
Someone can make the case that Xaviers telepathic range isn't far enough for someone who can stand on mars and with heat and binocular vision incenerate him.
DanteSparda - 6/27/2012, 1:05 PM

Xavier telepathic powers can go far beyond the Solar system (as seen with Liandra of the Shi'Ar empire), but I wouldn't be surprised if a Superman writer gave him invulnerability to psychic attacks or mental manipulation at some point.
goldenavenger77 - 6/27/2012, 1:20 PM

Thanks for the offer but 3 is a crowd.
Minato - 6/27/2012, 2:13 PM
You get my point, I thought Lilandra contacted him understanding the power of his telepathy. Who is more powerful Jonnz or Xavier.
Turtlestrong - 6/27/2012, 4:48 PM
Maybe this war will lead to the return of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson's relationship!

Aunt May gets shot again and her dying wish goes to Mephisto, which turns out to be that Peter be truly happy. In turn Mephisto knows that Peter's relationship brought him true happiness, so as Aunt May passes away in one of the final panels and everything goes black, we see in the distance, in the next panel an image of Mary Jane Watson....
