haha! wtf? i guess they're going for the weird room mate thing.
SugarYumYum - 4/21/2012, 12:42 PM

Maybe my warped fangirl mind is imagining the homosexual vibes but nonetheless, I'm intrigued. :D
SeriousJokester - 4/21/2012, 12:54 PM
I'd like to see Wolvie and Hulk be roomies
SeriousJokester - 4/21/2012, 12:56 PM
Spidey and Torch been doing the bromance thing since the 60's
SeriousJokester - 4/21/2012, 12:58 PM
I always thought it was strange, yet funny how much of a joker Spidey is when fighting villains, but always gets owned by Johnny Storm

I didn't know I was into Archie comics until I saw this preview.
LoudLon - 4/21/2012, 1:26 PM
Man, that is some shitty ass artwork...
HellBlayzer1981 - 4/21/2012, 1:33 PM
The artwork is ok, and spidey team-ups have been going down since before I was born. The more things cjange the more they stay the same.
BigK1337 - 4/21/2012, 1:47 PM

You're not the only one imagining the gay overtones in that preview (oddly enough, I have a fanboy mind than a fangirl to notice this much yaoiness).

Either way, I smell a potential sitcom idea as good as . . .

Having Johnny for a roommate would be awesome.
ibravosp5 - 4/21/2012, 3:55 PM
This will make a tv sitcom. 'Two-and a half heros'
jimoakley666 - 4/21/2012, 4:45 PM
Liking Dragotta's artwork here. His Peter looks very Ditko.
CrashTest - 4/21/2012, 5:11 PM
That was cool. Always loved Jonny and Parkers relationship.

Why does Marvel hate Spidey so much??? Ever since that OMD bull they've been turning him into more and more of a wuss. Give my Pete his balls back!
SotNatt - 4/21/2012, 10:04 PM

First Deadpool, now Johnny...I can't help but think the publication teams on Spider-Man just flat out hate the guy. He gets married, suddenly he's not married anymore. Aunt May dies...oh wait, no she doesn't!

Poor Pete. Thank god he's not a real guy. He might have grown up to be the Unabomber. :(

Still, I'm sure hilarity will ensue, as well as a swell of homoerotic undertones. More power to 'em.
BubblesShedAndBreakfast - 4/21/2012, 11:06 PM
Yeah I'm not digging it.
BmanHall - 4/22/2012, 11:19 AM
@ LoudLon: I was going to say the same thing. The story looks like it could be decent but the art just comes off as lazy. Seems a consistent trend with a lot of comic book artists these days.
imnotwearinghockeypants - 4/22/2012, 11:29 AM
Why not just invent new characters for this type of story? I might be interested if it WASN'T Spiderman and Human Torch.
HalEl - 4/22/2012, 12:27 PM
I kindof like the "team" they've got going with HT and Spider-Man, the double hot head aspect is fun and it makes sense because they're of similar age.

Don't think they should've brought Johnny back so soon but I may just check it out for the art, really diggin these panels.
