It was revealed today in Original Sin #7 that Wolvie once murdered his "children". This is something Marvel will have to show later on. As bad as he felt after killing Daken, you would think that was his first time.
TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 5:16 PM
I'm not mentally prepared for this event. :'(
TheManFromMars - 8/13/2014, 5:16 PM
I read "J.G. Jones'" as "G.I. Joes"...
Enki - 8/13/2014, 5:17 PM
Just get it over with Marvel.

And First.
Enki - 8/13/2014, 5:18 PM
Ok, third.

If you're first, I'm Zero and TelaVizion is Minus One.
RexDartEskimoSpy - 8/13/2014, 5:21 PM
Lon Chaney as Sabertooth?
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 5:22 PM

I havent read OS 7 yet BUT that isnt news (If im thinking about the same thing). Its in Wolverine v4 .. right after the storyarc Wolverine goes to Hell ... its really brutal.
TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 5:26 PM

Was never sure if I finished that story arc or not (clearly not). Were these children shown just the one time for that story? If what you're thinking of was a private thing, then that must be what Fury was referring to.
TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 5:27 PM
Lmao @TMFM
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 5:33 PM

It was a private thing. I dont want to say anything spoilerish but yes. They were mentioned for the first time in that stoy but there is a reason for it. A sick, twisted reason. Its a great story about ramifications. I highly recommend it. Very dark, twisted and nasty. Just like a good Wolverine story should be. I checked my fact. Its not right after "WOlverine goes to hell". it Starts With Wolverine v4 number 10. Its called "Wolverines revenge" (not very original :))

TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 5:37 PM
Thanks bud, bout to look it up now
CherryBomb - 8/13/2014, 5:37 PM
Beautiful art!
But eurgh, I am still so bored of Wolverine and his origins.
TelaVizion - 8/13/2014, 5:58 PM
I still think this will all lead to a name change. So in that since "Wolverine" will be dead. I seriously don't think Death wants to keep him forever just yet. Even though she "set this in motion".
kevberg - 8/13/2014, 5:59 PM
Nice of 'em to [email protected] on Wolverine with this story...but sorry thats the worst JG Jones art i've seen in while.

Sabertooth looks like @Gusto at 4 am in search of a glass of water.
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 6:28 PM
@ telavizion and Maxi

Yeah that was a really good arc. To be fair though, Wolverine didn't know they were his kids until AFTER he slaughtered them. All he knew is these weirdos were attacking him and if he didn't kill them they were gonna kill him.

@ Maxi

Do you remember when Wolvie was making his way through the mansion fighting them one by one, and then he entered that trophy room of his past? There were all those display cases with objects from Wolvie's past stories, and Sabretooth's head was in one of them. Just thought i'd mention that. I thought it was pretty cool.
InfiniteMonkey - 8/13/2014, 6:32 PM
Why does it take 4 comics to kill this bloke?
Just get on with it!

Long live the other obscured X-Men because of this rubbish!
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 6:32 PM
@ Maxi

You're right though. At the time, i was really over Wolverine and how crappily he was being written by everyone, but that arc was just what I needed at the time. It just felt like a good old dark and violent Wolvie story. I loved it.
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 6:34 PM
@ InfiniteMonkey

Hell, 4 issues is fast. Look at every other major character that has been killed off. We're lucky this isn't a 12 issue story like Death of Superman. Or look how long they dragged out the arc where Peter Parker died....
PunkRockJesus - 8/13/2014, 6:37 PM
LULZ @ Rex
PunkRockJesus - 8/13/2014, 6:38 PM
And Mickey Rourke as Wolvie
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 6:51 PM

Yeah I remember. it was really cool and creepy. That revelation moment really broke him. Great story.

Now youve made me want to re-read some older Wolverine stories :D. I got the whole v3 .... that one is great, The mess with Agent Lathrop, Enemy of the State, House of M, Civil War: WOlverine and Old Man Logan .... that was a great volume. :)
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 7:19 PM
Now this storyline "Wolverines revenge" would be great for The Wolverine sequel . But that would probably be a little too dark and disgusting for the average superhero genre audience. But it would be interesting. Of course they would need to modify it.

If Mr. Mangold want to go for a more traditional villain for the sequel. I would recommend Omega Red. ( Of course my recommendation means less than jack shit)

SuperiorMrGod - 8/13/2014, 7:34 PM
You inconsiderate [foo foo] F U.
blkchi - 8/13/2014, 7:49 PM
Omega red.would.bring in the Russian audience
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 8:11 PM
A lot of characters. A lot of storylines. A lot of writers. They want to promote their titles. They want to be dramatic. its all ok. Its been like this for years. Not something that bugs me. I think an average reader doesnt follows 9 books every month. Everybodys got a couple of favorites.
sniktsnakt - 8/13/2014, 8:40 PM
@mancalledsting You were correct. Effect is noun oftentimes, affect is verb. So, water down the effect, and it affected me.
thewolfx - 8/13/2014, 8:40 PM
Somebody tell logan his new suit sux ass

That bein said that cover is sweeeeeeeet
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 8:42 PM
@ mancalledsting

You hit the nail on the head. This is one of the reasons why people hate big event stories that happen every year. By the time the "world changing" event is over there's about 8 issues or so where everything is still feeling the effects of that event, but the next big "world changing" event comes along and changes it all again.

I've been reading comics for my whole life, 32 years, and i'm just in it now for certain characters. I need my X-Men and will always read them no matter what, but everything else i can pass on if I don't currently like it.

I do miss the Jim Lee days though with the Gold and Blue teams. To me, that was the best X-Men has ever been, and ever will be. That was before these giant company wide events screwed everything up every 12 months or so.
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 8:43 PM

His new suit does suck. Good thing he'll be dead soon and when he comes back it'll more than likely be in one of his more classic suits. They always do that when they bring back a character from the dead.
Marqy - 8/13/2014, 9:23 PM
You know what ekse woukd be awesome for The Wolverine 2 ? I know they never established this in the movie-verse and weve had enough of Sabertooth BUT there is this reccuring "joke" between Victor and Logan ragarding Logans birthday. If you know what I mean that would be kinda kewl :)
thewolfx - 8/13/2014, 9:44 PM

Very true
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 9:53 PM
@ Maxi

The joke? You mean Sabretooth attacking Logan or someone he cares about every year in his birthday? Yeah, they could. I haven't had enough of Sabretooth, honestly. I still don't feel like he's been done any justice in the films.
CorndogBurglar - 8/13/2014, 9:56 PM
@ Maxi

I think either Omega Red or Cyber would be the coolest villains for the next one.

Cyber is like the only villain Wolverine is actually afraid of.

I also liked Bloodscream back in the day. And Elsie Dee and Albert.
RodimusPryme - 8/13/2014, 10:26 PM
Too bad this is all just looking like a soap opera more than it is a comic book.
TelaVizion - 8/14/2014, 4:27 AM
Awwww, my bad @SuperiorMrGod. But that was nothing compared to the other thing that happened in that issue. Hurry up and read it.
Marqy - 8/14/2014, 4:49 AM

Yes exatly :) The annual attacks .. I think It would be a cool adition. ALso youre right &bout Cyber that would be great ... What do you think about Daken on the big shcreen?
Mugwamp - 8/14/2014, 8:28 AM
I was always a huge fan of Cyber. Would love to see him make a comeback even though he's technically "dead".

freebirdink843 - 8/14/2014, 12:41 PM
Just take is ass to madripoor. I know he just went to Japan, but I always loved the madripoor stories. Throw cyber n omega red in it, maybe even saber tooth. And make his costume. As long as he has metal claws
Marqy - 8/14/2014, 3:18 PM

Best. Idea. Ever. :)
