Marvel will probably end up using the Inhumans as replacements for the X-Men in the movies.
TelaVizion - 12/11/2013, 12:20 PM
Yup AlReg... This is their setup for it.

I'm okay with them substituing X-men with the Inhumans in the MCU as long as they do it right. Also, did anyone notice that Hulk's pants were shining in the video.
NoAssemblyReqd - 12/11/2013, 12:59 PM
Rumor has it that MCU's Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver (and perhaps even AoS's Scorch) will turn out to be Inhumans.

Are there any other "gray area" characters in the comics universe that Marvel Studios could introduce this way?

ALmazing - 12/11/2013, 1:03 PM
I'm glad Inhumans are finally getting more attention. Black bolt is a badass and I really hope he becomes part of the cinematic universe.

soforizo - 12/11/2013, 1:05 PM
That looks too weird. It would have to change substantially if it's going to be used to substitute the X-Men.
WruceBayne - 12/11/2013, 1:10 PM
I've never really been into Inhumans but after Infinity, I've realized how cool Black bolt was. I'll definitely pick this up.
Manhunter - 12/11/2013, 1:12 PM
The original superhuman race? Boooooooooo

I reject this attempt to Push the X-men out.
Bl00dwerK - 12/11/2013, 1:13 PM
That helicopter sounded really cool in 5.1...
Shaggy - 12/11/2013, 1:13 PM
the real news is that Middle Earth is back at Dennys
NoAssemblyReqd - 12/11/2013, 1:14 PM
I wonder if they will try to tie this into the New Universe revival (of sorts) Hickman did on AVENGERS earlier this year. The multiverse explanation was a pretty tidy way of having characters and events (the White Event, anyone?) crossover between universes; this Terrigen Mist event feels oddly similar to the rise of "paranormals" in the New U.
TheDemonsHead - 12/11/2013, 1:17 PM
I have some digital inhuman comics collecting digital dust lol
NoAssemblyReqd - 12/11/2013, 1:18 PM
And how are Inhumans going to be different from mutants, you ask? Well, just like in the New Universe, those manifesting powers will be of all ages, babies to the elderly, unlike mutants, who manifest at puberty.
MsDarkPhoenix - 12/11/2013, 1:33 PM
Inhumans movie would be great! It'll happen sometime in the future, since Marvel Comics suddenly remembered them. It's like what happened with GotG. I'll give Inhumanity a chance, I really like Fraction.
marcvader1 - 12/11/2013, 1:44 PM
I want the hearty sausage.
jlabatman - 12/11/2013, 1:46 PM
Yeah I'm pretty much diggin anything Fraction does!
plasticman - 12/11/2013, 1:48 PM
Splenda? Gusto? You wanna saddle on up to the breakfast sausage with me at Denny's tonight?
AGoodHonestMan - 12/11/2013, 1:58 PM
I have a feeling the next big cross-over event in the Marvel comics is gonna be Inhumans vs Mutants with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch playing huge roles. Black Bolt vs Cyclopes! Make it happen!
osideous - 12/11/2013, 2:06 PM
i dunno about mutants vs inhumans but with more inhumans and mutants not popping up. regular homo sapiens are going to be the minority. btw the first inhumanity comic was fantastic.
OleschooL - 12/11/2013, 2:11 PM
This is a great implementation and reintroduction of the Inhumans. I read them as a kid and to see Black Bolt return is awesome.
Scuzz - 12/11/2013, 2:16 PM
@AlReg No Shit Sherlock. Did you come up with that on your own or was it everyone talking about it for months that tipped you off?

Anything else you have to offer? Water still wet is it?
ThePowerCosmic - 12/11/2013, 2:52 PM
First issue of Inhumanity was amazing!
YeezusWept - 12/11/2013, 3:51 PM
Did I just see two Spider-Women?
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 4:25 PM
So, terrigen must got released, and now there's a bunch of people that are now have weird powers, and some are deformed, leading to persecution and fear. Isn't that the same idea behind the mutants?
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 4:26 PM
Seems like this is simply being done, because they can't use mutants in their movies, so they're making the Inhumans a new knock off brand....sounds legit.
Starscream22 - 12/11/2013, 4:41 PM
Well despite all the negativity here I thing the MCU can make the Inhumans way more successful than Fox-men.
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 5:00 PM
Fox-men....is that a new comic?
DurtyTalynt - 12/11/2013, 5:02 PM
Damn this is gonna be the ish. I just reread Earth X from Alex Ross and I loved the role the inhumans had in that. I see Marvel is just making a good storyline in order to incorparate them into the MCU so thats gonna be interesting. They have nothing to do with Xmen so comparing them is just silly. Inhumans have been around just as long as anyother marvel characters. All we next next is for Fantastic Four to go back to Marvel next and mix some Namor in there.
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 5:10 PM
They're planning on a shared universe with the Xmen, and the Fantastic Four. So they won't be going back anytime soon.
SunfireUrA55 - 12/11/2013, 6:33 PM
And what part of this trailer is "animated?"
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 7:09 PM
Obvious Gregg!!!! hahaaaaa you're too funny kiddo. But if what I posted was common knowledge, then you know this is Marvel copying the concept of the mutants, and shoving onto the Inhumans, just so they can justify changing Quicksilver, and Scarlett Witch.
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 7:11 PM
I love blind fanboys on either side, they're rage and blind obedience to their brand, is straight gold in these comments. Keep em coming Trudy, they lighten my day, after a hard day of work.
ds9epicfan - 12/11/2013, 7:21 PM
@AGoodHonestMan
Black Bolt vs Cyclops would be awesome to see!I'm not sure but I don't think we ever saw those two up against each other but I could be wrong!Still,it would be epic! And for those who think Marvel is replacing X-Men with Inhumans(whether in movies or comics),it's not gonna happen!X-Men have so many stories and a long history with fans for Marvel to just sweep them aside to spotlight The Inhumans!BUT....if Disney tells Marvel to terminate the X-Men,that's a different story! And that spells D-I-S-A-S-T-E-R!Gonna have to wait and see if this is in the future for Marvel!
GranGoose - 12/11/2013, 8:12 PM
If Hulk belongs to Marvel and Wolverine first appearance was at a Hulk number, would Wolvie be in the same gray zone of Wanda and Pietro?
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 8:22 PM
^^ I doubt it man, otherwise I think that would've happened. In my opinion, Fox, Sony, and Marvel, making marvel character movies is good. It gives the each studios movies a different tone. Buuuuuuuuuut, other than an argument over who would make more, I see no reason that Fox, Marvel, and Sony should have crossover films.
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 8:23 PM
Shouldn't have**
SageMode - 12/11/2013, 9:12 PM
Another hit event for Marvel. I hear INFINITY was badass, and with this being the continuation of it, anxious to see how this turns out.
SageMode - 12/11/2013, 9:15 PM
This is a SMART move by Marvel. Plus it digs deeper into the Inhumans history going back to the Celestials.
ManCalledSting - 12/11/2013, 9:25 PM
Man, I wish I could post gifs.....
thetrojan - 12/11/2013, 10:37 PM
Yeeha
this is a great idea.
Allowing for the mythology to continue...

Y'know that superheroic wish fulfillment....
i want the terrigen mists to envelop 'this' earth next week in order to reveal the inhumans on this earth.
