i'm up for this, marvel's solo hero books are great at the moment, not all of them but a lot of them are.

-moon knight
-the punisher
-captain marvel
-black widow
-iron fist
Magus - 4/27/2014, 11:33 AM
Nice. I haven't read any Pak since his Incredible Herc. What this guy did for Hulk and Hercules is incredible. I always thought Storm was the most interesting in poorly utilized of the X-Babes. I bet Pak could really do wonders for her.

Also, Mohawk Storm is the best.

It's about damn time!!!
NegativeNerd - 4/27/2014, 12:08 PM
@LivLuv, right?

I'm looking forward to this. It's about damn time she gets her own know...being the most popular female Marvel character and all.

Havensent - 4/27/2014, 12:16 PM
Love dat mohawk
Shroombeast - 4/27/2014, 12:18 PM
I gotta say, there are definitely other characters I'd rather see in a solo series right now. Like Doctor Strange, Spider-Woman, Adam Warlock, Blade, and one or both of the Hellstroms for example.

I love how whenever Marvel produces a book featuring a non A-lister everyone on here is like "Why? Can't you just give us more Wolverine!"

Some of you need to give some new books a try.
CaptShipwreck - 4/27/2014, 12:46 PM
Still the old gal has earned her place
Parkerluckpersonified - 4/27/2014, 12:49 PM
i hates storm lol she's awful, almost put me off buying the new x-men book
Prime - 4/27/2014, 1:02 PM
If there is anyone Snyder should take advice for Superman, is Greg Pak, not Miller. [frick] Miller. Anyway good luck Storm.

I love how this is the first mention of wolverine in this thread...
DoomBot666 - 4/27/2014, 1:10 PM
It doesn't interest me that much, but I can see why it would interest other people. She is a very powerful mutant, and can definitely stand on her own. And I for one like the mohawk. She looks good with it
TheGreenBastard - 4/27/2014, 1:11 PM
Stupid mowhawk
SugarYumYum - 4/27/2014, 1:13 PM
Won't be picking this up but still pleased to see the number of solo X-books growing:

Maybe that teased Kitty/Magik demon hunter series is next?
ShelfPorn - 4/27/2014, 1:13 PM
I wish they would explore her original origin more, where she was flying around Africa butt ass naked pretending she was a goddess.
HorrorPilot - 4/27/2014, 1:31 PM
Mohawk? Nope...
SuperSomething616 - 4/27/2014, 1:31 PM
Ugh no one cares about Storm...
NegativeNerd - 4/27/2014, 1:35 PM
Haters gonna hate.
ekrolo2 - 4/27/2014, 1:48 PM
I'll give it a chance just because its Pak, but I'm skeptical even he can make me care about her in any way.
LEOSTRATOR - 4/27/2014, 1:50 PM
The hate is amazing, I bet you guys would be jumping for joy if she wasn't a darky. Lol!
egie - 4/27/2014, 1:51 PM
ckal - 4/27/2014, 2:51 PM
looks like ass
TheMexiJew - 4/27/2014, 3:09 PM
How is Pak getting so much work despite him being an awfully mediocre writer? There are s many other, better, writers that could (and should) replace him on Action Comics, Superman/ Batman, and even probably this book. The last good thing he did, in my opinion, was eight years ago, and it was World War Hulk.
MikeHawk - 4/27/2014, 3:09 PM
The mohawk is badass. Sorry she aint drawn like the way all you people love your women. Too badddd.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 4/27/2014, 3:47 PM
Terrible design
NegativeNerd - 4/27/2014, 5:27 PM
LOL 1984. I think the mohawk looks great with the costume, I do however prefer her default costume that you see in Avengers alliance and Marvel Heroes.
ScionStorm - 4/27/2014, 6:47 PM
Step 1 of life after Wolverine's death:
Create Storm ongoing series.

I approve, Marvel.
Blastaar - 4/27/2014, 9:23 PM
Would love to see her sport dreadlocks, a white dreadlocked Mohawk or just dreads might be a cool different approach to her look also.
Blastaar - 4/27/2014, 9:25 PM
Or even the half/hawk like a lot of girls(even Skrillex) are wearing nowadays. The Half/Hawk would be more relevant for todays Pop-Punk hair fashion.
dethpillow - 4/27/2014, 9:25 PM
interesting. this might be really good.

she's a drag in the regular "X-Men" book she's got right now.
i was actually really excited about that one, cuz it was sold as kind of a girls owning X-Men team. which seems like it should kick ass. but that title's really been pretty sucky and annoying. and they're even ragging on Storm in it, like everyone's all "I like you better when you're not such a stick up my ass, Storm." and stupid Jubilee has her goddam ugly fat baby and nothing good ever happens, even for a second. i hate that title, actually. i'd be happier if they lost maybe 2 or even 3 X-Men books right now.

this might be cool tho. who knows. i don't know Pak very well.
