wow that preview just confused the hell out of me. so much time jumping. I do like the older look of the X-Men.

Ive heard good stuff about UA so far, but it doesn't appear to be the type of story you can just jump into without knowing what's been going on. Maybe i'll pick up the trades..

I thought Planet X was where Groot came from?

The best/worst thing about this book is that it's one big story. It's followed a very cleared storyline since issue 1, but because of this I honestly can't think of a good jumping on point. Great book though!

that floating stone thing looks like the object in the guardians of the galaxy trailers

Superb artwork, rather reminiscent of 60s newspaper comic strips styles like Garth, Barbarella and Modesty Blaise.

Great book. For me this and Mighty Avengers are two of the best Avengers books I've read in a while. I really like Hickman's books too, but they're taking a looong time to get to the point. I guess Remender is too but a lot of cool stuff has happened along the way.

My advice, just pick up an issue - any issue - and catch up. That's how it used to be done. You bought a book and started reading. The not knowing where stuff came from is what prompts the hunt for back issues. Or in these days sifting through wikipedia or Marvel wiki.

best marvel story line in years. Apocalypse Twins are the best new villains in a decade. If they ever bring marvel/disney and xmen/fox together for movies this is the story they need.

If you dont like this story I bet you love Thor 2.

this series has got better with each issue.

While I haven't been picking this up....I do hope Katie Summers makes it. She's practically the first biological child of either of the Summers brothers that was born in-continuity.

Sooo I guess Wolverine doesn't die, huh?

Wait until they hear Kang's battle-cry:

They'll never be able to take him seriously again.

yeah this is some good stuff. didn't realize how good until just recently, was like, i'm gonna just read it, just start reading it whatever.

and great stuff. and then i just backtracked to the start, but this is a good example of how things look really dumb until you actually are forced to read them, and then u find out why they aren't really dumb at all.

cuz so many things about this book just came off like cheap and lazy to me. just from previews and all. totally wrong. great stuff for the type of story it's meant to be.
