That is hot as hell....
myparentsaredead - 12/3/2012, 9:07 AM
There he goes, tracing his career away with that cover... *sigh* Why can't there ever be a good artist on Iron Man comics these days, one that could match the quality of the writer's work.
toco89 - 12/3/2012, 9:13 AM
Didn't like when it was first announced, but that last page changed my mind.
jimpinto24 - 12/3/2012, 9:23 AM
Gary Land does a great job with the artwork.
siggisuperman - 12/3/2012, 9:24 AM
I always try to be patient with artists and open to how they work but Land is really not doing it for me. His art is sometimes good but sometime unnatural and just looks off. I like the new suit more then I thought I would though. Maybe that page he put some work into ?
MarvelEPIC - 12/3/2012, 9:25 AM
I don't get the cover??!
sicknimon - 12/3/2012, 9:28 AM
the more Marvel Now! takes effect, the more I think we will see less and less of the last Guardians of the Galaxy run in the movie and more of the Marvel Now! Guardians. It's to early to say wether that is good or bad, all I know is I REALLY loved the last run. I was excited to see that being displayed on the big screen. To early to say, even to early to say if Richard Rider will be the onscreen Nova or if little boy Alex will be in the new galactic coming of age thriller.....
ATrueHero1987 - 12/3/2012, 9:28 AM
I like that new armor!
DarkGrifter - 12/3/2012, 9:30 AM
So it's Iron Man's helmet with Captain America's mask?
I like it.
KaneVonDoom - 12/3/2012, 9:31 AM
That cover reminds me of
MisterBabadook - 12/3/2012, 9:35 AM
Looks cool
KNIGHT3000 - 12/3/2012, 9:44 AM
Kinda looks like NUOVA SHENRON, of the red 4 star Dragonball in the GRAND TOUR, without the wings. Meh... Soo the Iron cowl is over the regular helmet? Ok i guess.
MisterBabadook - 12/3/2012, 9:52 AM
Side note to JOSH: there it is, right at the top, the main page, Governor w/ his bloody patch. I can't remember clearly, but I think it was you who asked people to put spoiler warnings all over things. Right?
jimoakley666 - 12/3/2012, 9:59 AM
I love the suit, but the helmet looks odd. It's like a cross between Iron Man and movie Cap.
Battabing - 12/3/2012, 10:05 AM
There goes Greg Land tracing shit again.
nuclearpriest - 12/3/2012, 10:08 AM
Well if they're gonna use the term "God Killer" in this issue then Marvel had better be ready for some media blow-back. That would be an awesome name for a new superhero though.
DarthTesla - 12/3/2012, 10:08 AM
Bad ass.
RonSwanson - 12/3/2012, 10:13 AM
Looks good to me.
StarkAnthony - 12/3/2012, 10:17 AM
interesting that they are going back to a suit that requires a machine to put it on right when it looks like the movie will be dealing with Extremis. Also, is it a good idea to have a suit that only a machine can put on or take off when he will be spending extended time in space? Will he build one in the Guardian's base or ship or whatever?
niknik - 12/3/2012, 10:29 AM
Tony Stark "betrays an old friend". Wow! Great original idea there! How many "old friends" has that douchebag betrayed the last few years now? I've lost count.

SageMode - 12/3/2012, 10:38 AM
Both of these suits look badass. Can't wait to see what the Godkiller armor can do.
SpideyQuad - 12/3/2012, 10:39 AM
The Original Iron Man, heh
kevberg - 12/3/2012, 10:44 AM

People don't like him because he traces others work..people don't like him because he photocopies and traces others PHOTOGRAPHS.
He even admitted to that being his process in IMPACT books People and Poses.

its a cheat almost as bad as liefeld.
BatSlam - 12/3/2012, 10:54 AM
why is his helmet wearing a mask?
TheStranger - 12/3/2012, 11:11 AM
It's growing on me.
BackwardGalaxy - 12/3/2012, 11:18 AM
Looks great.
StarkAnthony - 12/3/2012, 11:23 AM
Looks to me that he is using these images for reference rather than tracing or photoshopping them
Fogs - 12/3/2012, 11:23 AM
Looks good!

Hey trudy man, how's it going?
Jollem - 12/3/2012, 12:08 PM
milk the iron cow for all it's worth
TeeDeeHaaaay - 12/3/2012, 12:15 PM
Land is awful. How many times do you think he spanked it while drawing out that second page? Guy wants the D so bad.
xeno - 12/3/2012, 12:56 PM
I like the artwork here. It's much better than most of the crap in Marvel's titles, like the garbage that passes for art in Hawkeye.
AC1 - 12/3/2012, 1:27 PM
Gakazy suit looks a whole lot better here, looked awful in the other promos.
DTor91 - 12/3/2012, 1:33 PM

Haha, you don't know a thing about art if you really believe that. David Aja knows how to layout a page, tell a story, and even makes striking covers to go with it all. Greg Land can't draw without a photo on a lightbox.
RSDhillon - 12/3/2012, 1:51 PM
Greg Land copies pornography. Seriously.
ComicBookGoth - 12/3/2012, 2:04 PM

beane2099 - 12/3/2012, 2:18 PM
Who gives a damn how he draws it? Is there some kind of law saying he can't trace photos in his work? I didn't know the art police visited this site. Bottom line, he delivers consistently good artwork on a regular basis. I don't care if some of it's traced. Also this is the first time I've remotely liked this version of the armor. That pic has given a much better look what the hell's going on in that mass of red and yellow.
DTor91 - 12/3/2012, 3:01 PM

When you have an industry with people who devote their time and effort into creating and what they love doing, an industry that's hard enough to break into to begin with, and you have people like this getting paid very well to simply trace photos, yes I give a damn. I have a respect for the art and craft, it's what I go to school for. The general public may not notice or care, nor do you, but people like me as well as other artists do.
DioFoRio - 12/3/2012, 4:45 PM
[frick] Land and his half assed "art". Iron Man's cool though...dude bought me a burger once.
BADMOJO - 12/3/2012, 6:23 PM's really the same type of suit..just a different face? all righty then
BADMOJO - 12/3/2012, 6:29 PM
and by that i mean whats inside the book..the actual cover..siiigh!
