Not a fan of this casting. He was solid in Stardust, but doesn't have that Matt Murdock vibe. Oh well.
HurricaneXavier - 5/27/2014, 7:19 PM

He was amazing on Boardwalk Empire.
MrBlackJack - 5/27/2014, 7:21 PM
I'm not too familiar with him, but I'll give him a shot regardless.
Abary - 5/27/2014, 7:23 PM
"[...]in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City."

I would have actually liked to see the series take place a few years before everything in the Avenger. I hope we get stand-alone stories that doesn't focus too much on Avengers, but I can't wait to see how this is done though.
ruadh - 5/27/2014, 7:24 PM Bullseye. Everyone else can be a surprise.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:24 PM
staypuffed-look-wise sure,he is more unconventional looking then i imagined Matt to be but i have hear dhe is a pretty good actor.i have talked to two people about this casting and they both love said his character on Boardwalk Empire was suave and charming but also angry, driven and hurt and he played it really well..wouldnt be surprised if that got him the job and i think that sounds Like Matt..lets wait and see, hopefully the costume is great
TheManFromMars - 5/27/2014, 7:24 PM
I wish I could get excited about this
HurricaneXavier - 5/27/2014, 7:25 PM
If you haven't seen Boardwalk Empire I highly suggest you watch it.

Not only is it one of the best shows on T.V., he's awesome as Owen Slater, really vicious.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:26 PM
theman-whats wrong?
Zickafoose - 5/27/2014, 7:26 PM
I'll give him a shot :) It could have been worse!
SwanRonson - 5/27/2014, 7:28 PM
Excited as hell.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:28 PM
i do hope that this show goes beyond 13 episodes the defenders minisieries..i would like to watch continuing stories of daredevil..u can do much more with that character
Zickafoose - 5/27/2014, 7:29 PM
I mean can you believe we were actually considering Zac Efron? haha
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 5/27/2014, 7:30 PM
Could be good, no clue
ruadh - 5/27/2014, 7:30 PM
I am still hoping for jack Huston to land somewhere in the MCU
JoJo1982 - 5/27/2014, 7:35 PM

I hope so too

Willing to give this guy a chance he probably going to do Daredevil justice

Heck I grown to love Stephen Amell performance in Arrow
Zickafoose - 5/27/2014, 7:37 PM
Spiderman and Xmen would be better on Netfix if reverted back to the MCU. So many characters in both instances
MrPrime - 5/27/2014, 7:38 PM
Does not look like Affleck. 0/10. Try harder Marvel.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:39 PM
ruadh-yeah he was up for star lord ,so was AARON PAUL,JENSEN ACKLES,MICHAEL ROSENBAUM,JOEL EDGERTON and LEE PACE who james gunn was really impressed with and made him do a test for Ronan and he was impressed with him during that test so he made him Ronan the Accuser , but i think they went with a great choice and the best choice out of those actors and from the trailers in Chris Pratt
MrPrime - 5/27/2014, 7:42 PM
dat moment when you realise superman and daredevil were in stardust.

My bad, I meant Ramon.
AlexanderLykins - 5/27/2014, 7:50 PM
AlexanderLykins - 5/27/2014, 7:51 PM
He's a street level hero, not an Avenger. Next!
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:53 PM
i am a big fan of the AMC MOVIE TALK show and i think they have some good thoughts that line up with mine on the whole edgar wright ant man situation

AlexanderLykins - 5/27/2014, 7:55 PM
Not a fan of this casting.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:55 PM
BATFLECKRETURNS AND STARYEEZUS-hahhhhhaa,i love aaron paul, jesse was my favorite character on Breaking Bad but i dont think he would have been right for the role
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:56 PM
alexanderlykins-why? i havent seen this guy in anything and look wise.. he is exactly the Matt i imagined but a haircut can make people perceive other people in a different as i said before...i have talked to two people about this casting and they both love said his character on Boardwalk Empire was suave and charming but also angry, driven and hurt and he played it really well..wouldnt be surprised if that got him the job and i think that sounds Like Matt..lets wait and see, hopefully the costume is great
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 7:59 PM
alexanderlykins-sorry i meant he isnt exactly the Matt i imagined
RexDartEskimoSpy - 5/27/2014, 8:00 PM
Except "modern day Hell's Kitchen" is almost completely gentrified and nobody calls it Hell's Kitchen anymore. The Flaming C would be a more appropriate superhero for West Midtown. I wish they had the balls to set these webseries in the '70s. These characters lend themselves to a grittier, grungier, crimier NYC.
MrBlackJack - 5/27/2014, 8:01 PM
I'm pretty sure Ramon's ass imploded from too much butthurt. He probably plopped like a ballon.
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 8:02 PM
rexdart-they said that they will shoot it on set and in parts of hell's kitchen that arent really gentrificated to make it more authentic
batmanvsuperman - 5/27/2014, 8:02 PM
I don't know anything about him and I don't remember him on empire but he don't look the part too me...But I will try marvel and the actor and give him a shot I mean he gotta be good if the him so we will see
AlexanderLykins - 5/27/2014, 8:02 PM
I've seen him in Boardwalk Empire and I think he's brilliant. That's all I've seen him in though. I thought Marvel would go after a bigger name. Jensen Ackles perhaps?
batmanvsuperman - 5/27/2014, 8:02 PM
If they picked him^^^
ezio619 - 5/27/2014, 8:05 PM
Alexanderlykins-i want jensen ackles as marvel hero eventually, dude was up for Captain America and Star Lord but i think they went for the best choices in Chris Evans who i love as Captain America and Chris Pratt who looks great as Star Lord if the trailers are any indication but im fine with this..i have a wait and see approach to thisatleast alot of people ay he is avery good actor but i like that he is lesser known..marve;l studios doesnt always go for the big names for the their superhero casting
ThePowerCosmic - 5/27/2014, 8:06 PM

Great AMC video. Sums up my thoughts on the matter.
