Just in time for SDCC!

Can't wait for casting news! I want a ginger mat who loves the fact that everyone thinks his blind. Not a red tinted self loathing one which we got in the film.
hummingbird68 - 3/25/2014, 4:45 AM
Woowoo, here we go for a superhero based marvel tv show.
batz11 - 3/25/2014, 4:46 AM
Can't wait for this...I ordered Netflix the same day Marvel announced these shows...guess that's what Netflix was hoping for with the deal...
UltimateTypeface - 3/25/2014, 4:46 AM
This is a game changer tho...MCU = MCTV = World domination
hummingbird68 - 3/25/2014, 4:47 AM
Any news on if these netflix shows are going to tie in with the MCU?
Interestein - 3/25/2014, 4:47 AM
Awesome news, I love Goddard, he has the perfect superhero vision, he'll kill it on Daredevil, and THE SINISTER SIX.
UltimateTypeface - 3/25/2014, 4:47 AM
@batz - your 1st born?
Doopie - 3/25/2014, 4:48 AM
i am interested in who they will cast for this role, and the others too...particularly cage.

drew goddard did well with cabin in the woods so lets hope it starts well and keeps up the quality.

what i really want to know is whether they will cross over with AoS
CrimsonFlash - 3/25/2014, 4:49 AM
Please please please make this good.
yinyangpalms - 3/25/2014, 4:50 AM
Daredevil needs to be the 1st gay superhero to have his own TV show.
Kurne - 3/25/2014, 4:50 AM
I hate that Luke Cage is coming last.
UltimateTypeface - 3/25/2014, 4:51 AM
@batz ...your avi is spookily like a "days of future past" of mine
hummingbird68 - 3/25/2014, 4:51 AM
I have a feeling that AoS is gonna change its title next season - as long as it gets picked up that is.
CorndogBurglar - 3/25/2014, 5:00 AM
I'm so excited for this show. Daredevil is my 2nd favorite hero behind Cyclops. If this gets screwed up I'll be so upset.

@ Hummingbird

I thought it was always known that these Netflix shows would be part of the MCU. Whether the stories will cross over with the movies? I doubt it. But if they are successful, I would expect to see Daredevil, and Maybe Luke Cage make some cameos or be mentioned in the films.

Its a lot easier to get a TV actor to appear in a movie than it is to get a movie actor to appear on TV.
TMcFarlaneFan - 3/25/2014, 5:01 AM
Back when Fux was trying to do a DD movie and when Marvel got the rights back, I remember trying in vain to explain to some fools on here why DD would work as a TV series and why he wouldn't work on film. It would take 6-9 films to cover DD's story right and that would take 15-20 years to complete. A series can take it's time and unlike a film it doesn't have to skip past the subtleties just to get to the action.
But after AOS I have no expectations Marvel knows how to do TV.
CorndogBurglar - 3/25/2014, 5:02 AM
@ Hummingbird

As for AoS, yeah, I would think so too. I half expect the characters on AoS to go underground and work for Fury. But then again, I don't know what happens in Winter Soldier. I could be totally off.

But "Agents of Fury" has a nice ring to it.
TheClemster - 3/25/2014, 5:02 AM
I hope we get the yellow and brown costume at some point that would be cool :)

Is that really what it's all about???

What about:"the comic book community is winning"???
MarvelSquadie - 3/25/2014, 5:18 AM
It's all connected! Can't wait for casting news!
GinjaNinja - 3/25/2014, 5:19 AM
sweet, so all shows will probably finish up before 2016

I just started watching Arrow based on people saying "it's good now", but watching the early episodes really is an indication of how bad CBTV can be. I've started counting how many times a character announces someone by their full name or reminds the audience of someone's relationship or occupation... then I lost count. Like I said, I've heard it gets better and I hope it does, but yowzah...

I really hope that these are great, but I think Jeph Loeb sucks. I go down the list of stuff he's produced and it's mostly disposable stupid television. I haven't done an exhaustive survey and I don't know Loeb from Adam, but I'm just pessimistic of the whole project.

Does anyone know to what degree Feige is involved? That would allay my concerns a bit.

You lost me at Jeff Lobe. Everything that wrinkled old piece of shit touches turns guessed it, SHIT! The only reason this prune-faced [frick]er even has a job today is because he clung to Tim Sale's talent as an artist AND A WRITER and rode it all the way into a TV career.

@CrimsonFlash: Please make it good?! Have you never heard of Jeff Lobe and his amazing talent for creating brilliant cinematic gems on the small screen? You my friend have frankly missed out on entire lifetime's worth of quality TV this unparalleled genius has blessed the world with and for that I pity you. :/
JoJo1982 - 3/25/2014, 5:29 AM
So it begins!!!!

Soo Damn excited!!!
ProfessorX - 3/25/2014, 5:31 AM
They should get Chris Samnee to do full body concept art. The cowl he drew is amazing:

Tetrahedron - 3/25/2014, 5:31 AM
@dorsk188: Kevin Feige has ZERO YES ZERO percent involvement with the TV stuff. Hence shows like Agents of S.H.I.T. But hey, at least creative mastermind and TV legend Jeff Lobe is involved so the chances of it being as at least good as Smallville are pretty high. So yeah, PHEW! :/
UltimateTypeface - 3/25/2014, 5:38 AM
No Batz..I meant you gave up your 1st born for Netflix...??

"...guess that's what Netflix was hoping for with the deal..."

but it was nice to hear your life story...

im not much good at these conversations..

charlie2094 - 3/25/2014, 5:41 AM
Awesome! Looking forward to this! Netflix is a great place for it, should turn out better than AoS

Hope the costume looks good! Worried after seeing Deathloks (awful), hopefully they put more money into DD
Spock0Clock - 3/25/2014, 5:42 AM

But, Feige announced the Netflix shows... Sometimes I really hate corporate media structure...
marvelstudios - 3/25/2014, 5:42 AM
Looking forward to this. I wonder who they hired as the leading man. And also, i want to know whether Electra will be in it.

Long Live the MCU!
ConnorJMacleod - 3/25/2014, 5:44 AM
Did I mention that I want Scott Adkins for Iron fist?

Looking forward to Daredevil though..
IronRuhail - 3/25/2014, 5:47 AM
