ARROW Episode 1x13 'Betrayal' Poll & Discussion, Promo For Episode 1x14 'The Odyssey'

What did you think of tonight's episode of Arrow which featured the debut of Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson? With all the mysteries at the start of the show it looks like Oliver (Stephen Amell) is inching closer and closer to the truth.

DAVID ANDERS (“ONCE UPON A TIME,” “THE VAMPIRE DIARIES”) GUEST STARS — Cyrus Vanch (Anders), a nefarious criminal, is recently released from prison and intends to re-secure his position as leader of the underworld. His first step is to take down his biggest opponent in the city – Arrow (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Oliver shows Moira (Susanna Thompson) his father’s notebook and questions her about the names on the list. Thea (Willa Holland) is miserable as she starts her internship with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) at the legal aid office and Detective Lance (Paul Blackthorne) makes a deadly mistake that puts Laurel in the crosshairs of Vanch. David Ramsey and Colin Donnell also star. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Lana Cho & Beth Schwartz (#113).

MANU BENNETT (“SPARTACUS”) GUEST STARS AS SLADE WILSON — After Oliver (Stephen Amell) is shot, he turns to a surprising person for help – Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Diggle (David Ramsey) is stunned when he sees Felicity walk through the front door of the lair dragging a dying Oliver behind her, and the two team up to save Oliver’s life. As Oliver (Stephen Amell) hovers between life and death, he flashes back to a seminal event on the island – a daring escape attempt with his new friend Slade Wilson (guest star Manu Bennett). Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne and Susanna Thompson also star. John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim (#114).

I said it once and I'll say it again this show gets better with every episode.
ForeverPowerful - 2/6/2013, 6:41 PM
When Arrow was taking all of those guys out at the mansion...damn. Great show. Cant get enough of Deathstroke.

Ya been loving this show, still would like if they tightened up on the comic references a bit more. But none the less, will keep watching.

The scene with Green Arrow and Vanch's henchmen was amazing. Love the fighting choreography in this show and Deathstroke is awesome.

The acting may be piss-poor, but damn the stories are what keeps me tuning in every week.

I Agree With Everyone. Arrow Just Keeps Getting More Intense And Interesting. Next Episode Will Be Shocking. Bring It!

Manu as Slade made the episode.
Gamma022 - 2/6/2013, 7:35 PM
Two Deathstroke's?
But but...
ToddDamian - 2/6/2013, 7:35 PM
The end of this episode was amazing. I love Deathstroke's claim that he didn't torture Ollie, before throwing in the line about liking swords... and storming his mom's office as Arrow? Badass. It's getting real now.
Xeriath - 2/6/2013, 7:52 PM
I agree that this show gets better and better with every episode. Completely hooked now and can't wait for next week! The ending was crazy!
CharacterAssassin - 2/6/2013, 9:03 PM
Seems like they fixed the Detective's dialogue... lol. And that's a good thing. He's better now than when it first aired. The fight sequences in this show is top notch. They really packed this episode with goodies particularly at the end. Love the fourth option in the multiple choice up above... lmao. But it wasn't terrible, it's the make-up.

did anybody notice Thea's see through shirt and visible bra? thats what was catching my eye
HughJasol - 2/6/2013, 9:36 PM
This was the best episode of the season so far! Slade, GA kicking ass and at the end confronting his mother. Can't wait for next week.
gmoney0505 - 2/6/2013, 9:42 PM
Was not expecting that ending. Thought he was gonna do in as Oliver, but did it as Arrow. That was so awesome. This show is getting so good right now. Just hope the creators dont write anymore episodes. They just cant write that great.
superotherside - 2/6/2013, 10:06 PM
Bring on the next episode! It's getting pretty good.
janitra - 2/6/2013, 10:19 PM
I think this episode quite sucks.
Steelmatic - 2/6/2013, 10:58 PM
Loved the final ass kicking doled out by Oliver at his Mom's office.

For a guy lecturing someone on only killing when necessary a few eps back, he sure doesn't hesitate to drop everyone in sight lol.
Jefferys - 2/6/2013, 11:14 PM
I honestly loved this episode, I was sadly hooked the entire time. Couldn't even look away. I think the show and I were having a staring competition because I never blinked. I lied, it was once I did.

But, how would I know? I'm no Einstein.
That, is now my new saying!
yinyangpalms - 2/7/2013, 9:22 AM
That was a thrilling episode! All of the actors have got their characters down and each actor seems to be hitting Grand Slams back to back!
SUPERSHADOWBAT - 2/7/2013, 11:21 AM
Great action and story line, Arrow keeps upping the ante every episode.
blackagar94 - 2/7/2013, 12:02 PM
hum, Slade is an Aussie now ? I mean the actor is from New Zealand, but I don't remember Slade being an Australian. Maybe he lied to Oliver.
