ARROW S2, E23 Official Description Released; "Unthinkable" - Season Finale

Arrow/Merlyn teamup please
batz11 - 4/24/2014, 4:10 PM
Last night was wicked...didn't see that coming...good parallel to Oliver's choice on the island...where the [frick] did Slade's blade come from though? haha
gamecreatorjj - 4/24/2014, 4:10 PM
Wow, we really can expect to see everyone.
GizmoEl - 4/24/2014, 4:15 PM
I think Ollie is gonna use the cure on Slade instead of killing him. I'm assuming Slade kidnaps Laurel and has Oliver choose between her or Sarah. I don't think either Sarah or Laurel will die (although I'm hoping Sarah does die). If Sarah survives, I'm assuming she will leave with Nyssa.
DrunkenNukem - 4/24/2014, 4:20 PM

And what about a minor cameo from Barry?? waking up from his coma
TheBuoyWonder - 4/24/2014, 4:20 PM
Hopefully he'll be called green arrow by the end of the episode.
SAZMD - 4/24/2014, 4:21 PM
Slade kidnaps Felicity, I think.
RetroFit - 4/24/2014, 4:21 PM
I hope Slade took Thea so Arrow gets Merlyn to help him. Merlyn saving his daughter? Perfect time for Thea to learn THAT secret!
GreenOliverQueen - 4/24/2014, 4:28 PM
so it's not diggle or thea. my moneys on felicity being kidnapped. now that saras gone maybe ollie and her will get together for season 3
boiler1 - 4/24/2014, 4:40 PM
@LMB10 i think one more step is needed. Arrow, Merlyn and Ra's Daughter.
DCeddie - 4/24/2014, 4:54 PM
Sooooo, Roy obviously comes back around...
CauseImBatman91939 - 4/24/2014, 4:58 PM
i really don't want Slade to die if he dies i'll miss his epicness he brings to the show*SPOILERS TO SEEING RED episode so if you didn't see it don't look at the image you been warned*

TheDarkPassenger - 4/24/2014, 5:03 PM
He wont die. He's too big of an asset to this show.
BraxtonHicks - 4/24/2014, 5:06 PM
I'd be happy with a scene that features Slade firing a shot right at Oliver almost point blank and all you see is a red streak pass in front of Ollie... Both surpised by what just happened, Ollie takes advantage of the situation and wins their big battle royale and to end the episode, we barry just hanging out in ollie's lair just waiting for them to return... tthat'd be a cameo I'd like to see...
BraxtonHicks - 4/24/2014, 5:07 PM
We see barry*

No one else will die like I was saying for weeks his mother or sister will die but Slade will not get the cure but Roy will Slade will get lose the evil shado in his head that's it
Baconman21 - 4/24/2014, 5:09 PM
dnno1 - 4/24/2014, 5:14 PM
I want ti think that Slade will be taken alive (in a coma or something like that) by ARGUS and have an explosive placed in his brain and his spine. He will then become a permanent member of the Suicide Squad.
whoa123 - 4/24/2014, 5:22 PM
@batz11- I was wondering the same thing, Slade was wearing a long ass coat though so maybe that's something haha.
batz11 - 4/24/2014, 5:32 PM
Yeah, guess you're right, long coat...

Manu is [frick]ing awesome as Slade, became a big fan of his from Spartacus, really too bad he's "wasted" on this show...don't get me wrong, LOVE this show, but if they don't mix universes with the movies, he is kinda wasted...was hoping Manu would have been Crossbones in Cap, but Frank G. was awesome...

ComicsBornAndBred - 4/24/2014, 5:38 PM
Oliver's love child will be kidnapped
gmoney0505 - 4/24/2014, 5:42 PM
What friends helps Diggle take on Waller? Villains in the suicide squad are not his friends.
FlapjackAce - 4/24/2014, 5:43 PM
@TheWolfman I'm feeling that idea, except with Barry waiting. I'd prefer it to happen and then not be mentioned until Barry comes back and he mentions it. Then while Oliver puts it together they show the situation from Barry's point of view.
rabid - 4/24/2014, 5:47 PM
Excellent. I've been waiting patiently for the Suicide Squad to redeem themselves and earn their keep.
Slade kidnaps someone close to Ollie's heart? That's either Laurel, so that she can confront the Arrow, or it's Detective Lance, so he can get killed off.
SoundWave - 4/24/2014, 5:48 PM
@boiler1 Nyssa will be in this episode 100% there was pictures from filming season finale
BraxtonHicks - 4/24/2014, 5:53 PM
@FlapjackAce I'd be ok with that, ya know that's a better idea than mine...
soforizo - 4/24/2014, 5:56 PM
They better find a way to have Deathstroke survive, ideally with his powers as well.

I'm hoping the Slade wins, but that's too gutsy for most TV shows, though not too far from Season 1's finale. That degree of unpredictability is one thing I like about Asian movies and TV shows. It's not easy to pull it off, and we'd likely have to bear with ManDeth whining all off-season about it... but I think it's worth it.

Have Slade accomplish what he set out to do (minus stabbing Oliver in the eye), and leaving Starling City satisfied... with in chaos, Oliver broke and beaten to a pulp, Team Arrow in disarray. Deathstroke can latter return ideally skipping Season 3, in a potential Season 4 showdown with Oliver (though not as the main villain of that season). One can dream.
LEOSTRATOR - 4/24/2014, 6:01 PM
I'm 3 episodes behind, did this show pick up some or are we still in the mellow drama stage? If I skip straight to the season finale will I miss any thing from the past eps?
soforizo - 4/24/2014, 6:35 PM

You'll miss on some plot elements, especially those of last night's episode. The problem is that episode had the most melodrama of all season. Which you aren't able to handle.
bs77 - 4/24/2014, 6:44 PM
The second half of this season has really been intense. First half was very soapish. I do feel like they have dragged this Deathstroke saga on enough. I'm not sure we can be satisfied with the outcome of the arc. Slade will survive; he's too big a character in the DCU to die on TV. Ollie will obviously survive, so we're left will supporting characters dying off, and some kind of conclusion that doesn't really end with a winner or a loser. I think Merlyn will reappear and the league of assassins must have a greater impact somehow outside of giving us a lesbian for Canary. I hope the season finishes strong. I'd hate to see all of this building tension fall flat.
LEOSTRATOR - 4/24/2014, 6:47 PM

Thanks, I'll try to catch up this weekend and put a hold on some of the new shows, like Fargo and Salem.
superbatspiderman - 4/24/2014, 6:57 PM
Manu Bennett would be a really good Punisher. That is if he can do a good American accent.
Nomis - 4/24/2014, 7:05 PM

Last night episode was an EPIC GAME CHANGER!!!!!

ARROW was already GREAT but it's now bordering on LEGENDARY status as a show!
batz11 - 4/24/2014, 7:18 PM
K Nom, we all know you love Arrow, but...

Nomis - 4/24/2014, 7:30 PM
