shabat - 5/12/2014, 1:29 PM
@Nomis, Arrow's facebook page has a picture of Diggle with a tagline that says "In the end, who will be safe?" Not that they would blatantly give it away like that, but why even bother?
CPIXLEY - 5/12/2014, 1:30 PM
This Wednesday is the finale. Guaranteed. 100% positive.
shabat - 5/12/2014, 1:30 PM
I don't know what I'm more excited about, the show (which I am extremely excited for) or the trailer for Flash (which I will probably watch 50 times in a row).

Can't wait to see Island Ollie put that arrow through Slade's eye and see Roy put his arrow training into action.

NightForce - 5/12/2014, 1:44 PM
LOL ARGUS has the power to authorize a friggin drone strike on a major metropolitan area? Filled with millions of people?? Because 50 MEN with enhanced strength are on the loose? Just send the army in and pick them off from a distance they aren't invincible. IDK I think the whole "drone strike" is a cheesy was to add tension.
DrunkenNukem - 5/12/2014, 2:05 PM
damn....after wednesday no more arrow untill September...damn...
GentlemanlyBatman - 5/12/2014, 2:08 PM
Is Roy wearing a mask like Oliver? If so, that's awesome.
abw2 - 5/12/2014, 2:08 PM

Karmatron - 5/12/2014, 2:16 PM
Here is hoping that Marvel-NetFlix shows goes on this direction and takes inspiration from the greatest comicbook show on tv ever -Arrow!
Karmatron - 5/12/2014, 2:17 PM
let us hope that the boring amc show takes some notes from here
GeekyCheekyChic - 5/12/2014, 2:22 PM
then..............why does Roy get a mask and march on the front line with the people who actually can kick some ass like Merlyn and Canary ? He has no obscene super strength so now his super power is whiny Hollister model.
DrunkenNukem - 5/12/2014, 2:22 PM

Did you guys know who Diggle's wife is in the DCU?

Lyla Michaels, a.k.a.

The Harbinger

Found this just for fun.

Battabing - 5/12/2014, 2:54 PM
@The Captian,

There aren't millions of people in Starling. There are about 500,000 people there.

And ARGUS initiating a drone strike is no more silly than SHIELD trying to drop a nuclear bomb on actual millions in NYC against aliens that can be killed with bullets and arrows.

No killing = lame. I wanna see blood.

I do miss the abundance of killing. But comic book Arrow fans won with all their bitching last year about it. I'm more okay with it now though.
NightForce - 5/12/2014, 3:02 PM
Yeah I shoulda mentioned I thought the nuke in the Avengers was silly too, so both that and the drone strike are dumb. But yeah in both situations the invaders (Chitauri and Super soldiers) aren't invincible. But in Arrow there are only 50 of those super dudes, not thousands of aliens. And that Teen Titans Vs. Avengers pic is pretty sweet.
That picture is hilarious.

Not watching. Thankfully we have other DC shows in the off season.
soforizo - 5/12/2014, 3:32 PM

A few comments:

1. It didn't look like thousands of Chitauri in Avengers, and Slade wasn't exactly handing out a head out for the government to access the threat. If I'm not wrong Oliver assumes it's 50.

2. The aliens were easier to kill, as it was easier to kill them with just handguns and arrows. The military would've had a field day there too. While in Arrow they could have easily take their masks off and hide among the general population, with Slade later increasing their numbers.

3. Arrow proposed attack was with conventional bombs, Avengers was with a nuclear bomb. A huge difference.

4. On the population. Only Avengers would've been in the millions. Based on NYC, it would be about 16x times the population. 570K in Arrow, 8.3 million in Avengers. That doesn't even take into account the additional millions more that would be affected by a radioactive cloud and water.

None are what I would hope to expect in real life, but it fits with normal government behavior in the genre.
ComicsBornAndBred - 5/12/2014, 3:51 PM
Cure won't work on Slade becUse the mirakuru has been In his system so long that it's become a part of his biology. Slade needs to keep his abilities like in the comics
soforizo - 5/12/2014, 4:07 PM

I can only hope you're right.
