Oliver decides to put his skills to use by taking on the persona of Arrow and becoming the vigilante that Starling City needs.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Arrow
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
David Ramsey as John Diggle
Willa Holland as Thea Queen
Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance
Susana Thompson as Moira Queen
Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance
Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke
Colton Haynes as Roy Harper
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Canary
Arrow returns May 7.

Great episode tonight. These last two are gonna be absolutely insane!
maninfinesuit - 4/30/2014, 10:17 PM
Great episode tonight. Thought my computer had malfunctioned when it ended cause of that cliffhanger. It's all going to blow up from here.
GizmoEl - 4/30/2014, 10:22 PM
Definitely prefer Ollie/Laurel teaming up than Ollie/Sarah. They seem to have a better dynamic. I hope she starts training soon to become the black canary. I'm really hoping Laurel doesn't die, she's become a real strong character in the show instead of serving as the drama. Sarah is really annoying now, hope she leaves with Nyssa. Felicity said some pretty stupid shit at the reception for Moira, even Isabel had more class than her.

Solid episode that's building to something big. Hope it pays off!
thebearjew - 4/30/2014, 10:34 PM
ya like saying moira was diabolical? hah thays a bit dramatic i mean she lied about stuff but diabolical? really??
soforizo - 4/30/2014, 10:45 PM
Looking forward to it.

PS. Whoever cuts these promos gives away too much stuff. Why they showed Quentin's fate? There was some chance imo that he could've been a goner.

Just re-watched tonight episode and if you watech the opening scene where Sabastian Blood is talking to Laurel at Morira's memorial reception about family and legacy, you get the feeling it's foreshadowing someone in the Lance family will get it by season end.
TheDarkPassenger - 4/30/2014, 11:02 PM
These last 2 episodes are going to be amazing. Really hoping for a Meryln and Slade showdown.

And I'm glad Laurel is making a comeback, I've always wanted to like her but its been extremely hard. But I guess thats what they were going for, so good for Cassidy for making me hate her.
Stonewall - 4/30/2014, 11:28 PM
im just glad moira is dead.
patrat18 - 4/30/2014, 11:35 PM
Last 2 are going to be crazy as shit.
LancerEvo - 5/1/2014, 12:28 AM
Anyone catch how one of the news interviewers was holding a microphone during the Sebastian Blood interview that read: "News 52"? Thought that was kinda cool :)

If it's been seen on the show before and I'm only realizing this now, just disavow this and move on :P
relentless1 - 5/1/2014, 1:27 AM
Sarah is the "one more" to die and Laurel will take the mantle of Black Canary. You heard it here first folks.
Masterpace - 5/1/2014, 1:37 AM

No we heard it numerous times since Sara first appeared.
dnno1 - 5/1/2014, 2:20 AM
Just for clarification, last night's episode was part 2 of a four part season finale. Greg Berlanti teeted that last week.

" when all hope seems lost, Felicity receives a crucial phone call that could change everything "

Another deus ex machina? Oh joy (sarcasm).

"Another deus ex machina? Oh joy (sarcasm)."

Yes, because Agents of SHIELD would never engage in such a lazy deus ex machine like the location-based encryption in "Only Light In The Darkness" or how they found the Guest House in "T.A.H.I.T.I."

You don't even hide the fact that you're a Marvelite! I like that. Great job!

ProfessorX - 5/1/2014, 2:59 AM
@McGee: Neither of those things were deux ex machinas, you dim-witted chav. And bringing up Agents of SHIELD is a red herring to begin with, so...

batmanvsuperman - 5/1/2014, 3:09 AM
This show is amazing
Mothchild - 5/1/2014, 3:29 AM
I'm loving this show.

deus ex machinas or not. lol
furyanhunter - 5/1/2014, 3:46 AM
Roy is being wasted
caroldanvers - 5/1/2014, 3:49 AM
i can't freaking wait tbh
it won't just be arrow team and merlyn vs slade and the army, it's arrow team, merlyn, sara, (probably roy) and nyssa (plus probably the league) vs slade and his army which sounds amaaaaaaaazing

also it seems like sara is dying in the flashbacks in the next episode so she's definitely dying on the show too, i guess. you know, they do love their parallels
Vegeta - 5/1/2014, 3:54 AM
Last nights episode was amazing, as always. I'm glad Merlyn is back! I hope we get to see Merlyn & Green Arrow vs Deathstroke.
mgeoff88 - 5/1/2014, 4:31 AM
Great episode! I know some people said there wasn't enough action, but with everything that happened to Oliver, you can't expect him to be fighting crime like nothing happened.

That would be unrealistic.

@ProfessorX If you hate the show so much, why do you spend so much time coming on Arrow articles?

Whenever there is an article about a TV show or movie I don't like, I usually don't bother commenting. Simple as that. You come off as a guy with too much free time on your hands with the way you troll Arrow articles.

@caroldanvers It is really exciting that they're building up to this huge showdown! It's going to be an amazing season finale!!!
McGee - 5/1/2014, 4:34 AM

I can see how an idiot with only partial knowledge of the term wouldn't recognize those examples as falling into deus ex machina (or deux ex machinas as your illiterate ass now wants to type it). See, it doesn't just refer to God like device/character coming out of nowhere to save the day. It also refers to implausible concepts used as solutions. And as far as the red herring forfeit the right to bring up fallacies the moment your dumb ass blithely judges an episode that hasn't come out yet, based on a cryptic synopsis. Try again bitch. :)

I have trouble not seeing Merlyn help Oliver. Merlyn wanted to save the city, not destroy it. He just though destroying the glades would save the city.
sameoldthing - 5/1/2014, 6:09 AM
How will Roy kick anyone's ass on Slade's crew.
They are big ass criminal types with years of fighting & killing with same super drug.

Like Ollie,Roy would & should get his ass beat down.
More training is needed for that punk.
ProfessorX - 5/1/2014, 6:26 AM
@McGee: Partial knowledge? The definition of a deus ex machina is as follows: "an unexpected power or event saving a seemingly hopeless situation, especially as a contrived plot device in a play or novel." -

The examples you listed are just standard plot devices, not dei ex machina.

"And as far as the red herring forfeit the right to bring up fallacies the moment your dumb ass blithely judges an episode that hasn't come out yet, based on a cryptic synopsis."

Just FYI, this^ is another red herring, as well as an ad hominem.
MrReese - 5/1/2014, 6:39 AM
Shit is going down ppl!!!
Extricator - 5/1/2014, 6:50 AM
OMG, last nights episode set the table for a smorgasbord next week. So much poop is about to go down. Laurel is so arcing towards the Canary.

I thought the ravager enterence was a little lack luster

Don't feed TrollessorX....

cartoonpersona - 5/1/2014, 8:06 AM
How are they going to make season 3 bigger and better because this season has been amazing
Pasto - 5/1/2014, 8:36 AM
I love how ProfessorX won't acknowledge Mgeoff's comment directed towards him. You know you're wrong on something when someone calls you out and you don't even act like the statement exists. If you're gonna say something stupid, have the balls to plant your feet in the ground and defend yourself. Don't act like a bitch and run the other direction.

So ProfessorX, you have failed. You have failed, badly.

DrunkenNukem - 5/1/2014, 8:42 AM
Another Arrow comment section, same troll seeking attention, and people still give it to the beast.

Stop feeding or responding to this virus.

dont feed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DCeddie - 5/1/2014, 8:50 AM
So judging by the tunnel scene last night, Oliver's leg got better REAL quick!

Glad Mioras dead...thats a little less unneeded drama...though, we're about to get "Days of Our Lives" over-acting Merlyn back, so it's kind of a wash...

I loved Felicitys attitude at the mirrored my own sentiments :D
nickh0801 - 5/1/2014, 9:30 AM
Apparently I missed the part where Q. Lance got out of jail and was back on the police unit. When did that happen?
