For an upcoming feature in Emmy Magazine, Stephen Amell chose to sweat it out instead of looking pretty in suits. The following video showcases the extent of Amell's immense physicality as he demonstrates a number of parkor moves that he uses in the action scenes of his Superhero series, Arrow, premiering tomorrow on CW. Amell shows that his sculpted physique is not just for show but is capable of brutal power and athleticism, both of which he brings to his gritty action scenes.

Amell also does the infamous 'Salmon Ladder' for real, a grueling workout move shown in the trailers for the series that generated a lot of buzz.

How hard can this be? I see some pretty scrawny-looking guys doing an even more "difficult" version on youtube:

No offense, but I wanna see the video of you doing it.

I used to look like the guys on that video, and a lot of people made the same mistake.

^Actually, I'd love to try. I wasn't trying to take anything away from the actor. I was just making an observation and responding to the "infamous" part of the article. Besides, I used to work out and from what I'm looking at, it really does seem that difficult; especially, compared to some of the things I've done.

^^ Internet people, they always love to talk a BIG GAME...Ok, sir, get us a video with you doing that and then I will believe your words.

That workout is hard, its actually one of the stages for NINJA Warrior, so anyone saying it's not, has only watched others do it and never done it themselves.

@Celenco: WTF? I just made it clear that I've never done it. Internet people, indeed. Where can I do this Salmon Ladder thing? I don't have any access to such a contraption.
