NYPD Blue star Charlotte Ross has joined the upcoming season of The CW's Arrow as the mother of fan favorite Felicity Smoak! You might recognize Ross from recent appearances in both Nashville and Glee before being tapped by The CW. The actress will star in at least one episode but may appear in more with her first scenes as the unnamed character airing in late November.
This coming season of Arrow will give us more knowledge of Felicity's past in an arc that the showrunners over at The CW are calling "The secret origin of Felicity Smoak". Marc Guggenhiem teased fans, saying that we will "absolutely get to know her". It is most likely that the majority of Ross' appearances in the show will take place during these flashback based episodes.
What sort of role do you think (or want) Charlotte Ross to play in Arrow? Are you looking forward to finding out more about Felicity Smoak's past? Sign off your thoughts below!
