I haven't watched Seventh Son yet, but I'll have to watch it now. I can't wait to see what they do with Collossus in this movie. He hasn't really gotten his do justice yet, hopefully this time around he will.

This puzzles me.
I thought the whole reason why replaced Cudmore was because they wanted a more capable actor?
It's sad, I thought Cudmore suited the role really well.

beside 3 scenes in X2 (walking with tv, throwing a guy and drawing picture) Cudmore never felt like Colossus for me. Maybe that pretty bad T2 effect didn't help either.
Also 3 movies - no back story, maybe 2 lines of dialogue (should he have a Russian accent ? Maybe he should). Wasted opportunity.

I think there's a chance that Colossus could be decked out in his full X-Men uniform. I doubt he'll have a lot of lines, he's gonna look massive though

Cudmore was a glorified cameo before and now he's a full on character. Also, he is Russian, big, a decent actor so there's no reason to not assume he is playing the part vs just soley being a stand in. I think it's obvious he is Colossus.

So he is 6'10, in the mocap suit his helmet has the ball attached to give the actors some idea of how big the character is supposed to be, anyway, it looks like Colossus will be over 7 feet. That makes me hella excited.

Funny how the only marvel movies i'm hyped for these days are the ones by fox.disneys kid friendly action comedy formula worn thin on me, plus their multitudes of weak villains whose escapades are of little actual consequence in their different worlds.marvel used to have dark characters who didn't care to bust a few heads open in the course of a good days job. Punisher, blade, even and especially hulk (pre Ruffalo version).No disrespect to whedon, but hulkbuster knocking out hulk with a single punch to the head? The marvel brand has slowly been eroded and replaced by the Disney brand, and we gat mickey and minnie disguised as banner and Natasha. Shame.

Cudmore was fine. It was Singer who held him back. Cudmore fought for a different costume and accent and Singer shut his ass down sadly. Sucks he's not our favorite tin man.
