Batman Reboot - My picks for the Joker

Possible Joker Contenders

Here is my list of possible actors for the Joker in a Rebooted Batman series

Jude would be an interesting choice.

Haley would make one intense Joker.

Ben is a very underrated actor and would be great as a younger Joker.

Chris is actually my one of my fav's for the part and would be incredible as the Joker.

Bowie is a fine actor and should do more movies, he would bring some magic to the part of an older Joker.

Yes he may be LOKI but he would be awesome as the JOKER too.

Hulme really has the look for the Joker.

Nobody knows the Joker better than Hamill and who wouldn't love to see him play the Joker an older one of course.

He would be fantastic.

Another Fav for me.

Penn as the Joker nuff said.

Dafoe as the Joker could it get any more awesome than that.

Chris Nolan originally wanted Sean Penn for the role.

@RidiculousFanBoyDemands: no he didn't

What about Charlie Sheen? XD
RidiculousFanBoyDemands - 1/9/2012, 2:06 PM

Yes he did.

Sean Penn passed on the role, and even did interviews when The Dark Knight was released confirming this. He couldn't do it because of scheduling conflicts.

Despite endless speculation on which actor had been chosen to portray The Joker, Heath Ledger had always been Christopher Nolan's one and only choice for the role. When asked the reason for this unexpected casting, Nolan simply replied, "Because he's fearless." He later said that the two had met up to discuss it before there was even a script for the film.

Mark Hamill in a live action flick would be [frick]in incredible!!! how come they have never done it?? :/

I would go with Jude Law!... Why?
Road To Perdition tell you why.

He would be [frick]ing sick Joker!

^Jude Law needed MORE screen time in that fantastic movie.
AlexDeLarge87 - 1/10/2012, 10:35 AM

DAFOE is my fave out of all your choices here.

I like the older JOKER (JACK NICHOLSON), not
the young punker-anarchist from TDK.

JOKER is an older character in the comics
for years and years. He's a seasoned super-villain
not a young FILM NOIR gangster.

Get BATMAN back to superheroes & super-villains
and sci-fi!
