JLanphear - 2/7/2010, 8:08 PM
The World of Heroes trailer above was way badass.
whytry2hard - 2/7/2010, 8:10 PM
Yeah World of Heroes was waaaay better!
EdGross - 2/7/2010, 8:19 PM
I think they're both solid efforts, and I hope the fans keep turning out quality "productions" like these. It's great fun seeing them come to life.
Charged4ever - 2/7/2010, 8:20 PM
Wish something like this could be made into a movie it would be epic and I'm talking a real movie not a cartoon movie
Layperson - 2/7/2010, 8:33 PM

CaptainAmerica - 2/7/2010, 8:34 PM
lololololol How did the Saints cheat?
jarydevan - 2/7/2010, 8:39 PM
Tobuttica - 2/7/2010, 8:44 PM
If you call all missed calls cheating, then every team that has won a Superbowl has cheated. Stop being a sore loser and deal with it. I'm not a fan of either team and I thought it was a great game. The Vikes Saints was a good game except for the missed call. Now the Chiefs just need to get their crap together and go for a run next year. Heh.
Ranger14 - 2/7/2010, 8:46 PM
I don't get these fan production things.

Saints cheated against the Vikes? How?

Ozy@ I see you are a Pats fan...ummm...Belichik wrote the book on cheating...and got caught.
peterparker420 - 2/7/2010, 8:51 PM
(That's the music from the Clash of The Titans trailer)
CaptainAmerica - 2/7/2010, 9:01 PM
lol Vikings lost cuz Brett Farve played the 4th quarter :) He's a [frick]ing good quarterback........until he plays the 4th quarter.
InTylerWeTrust - 2/7/2010, 9:25 PM
Eh, the Worlds Collide trailer was okay, but that World of Heroes one kicks major ass.

Go Saints! :)
brycied - 2/7/2010, 9:29 PM
brett favre sucks monkey dick!!!! i hate that guy.

jusme6 - 2/7/2010, 9:49 PM
Wait! So this commercial was on during the Superbowl? I find that very hard to believe.
SHHH - 2/7/2010, 9:53 PM
brett favre gave the saints the superbowl! no cheating required when farve slingin it across his body in OT..
seanxvito - 2/7/2010, 10:31 PM
first off - WHO DAT!!!

secondly - what is the deal with these trailers...are they for real? if so that's awesome but i don't really see that being the case. and what channel did they air on? not CBS (the superbowl channel) b/c i watched that shit all day and never seen either one of those even once.
cincyboy - 2/7/2010, 10:34 PM
worlds collide? more like ryan renolds' roles!
thwhtGuardian - 2/7/2010, 11:36 PM
I missed this too, weird.
Phinehas - 2/7/2010, 11:58 PM
I like the World of Heroes better.

BTW, really pleased this didn't make main. I'd rather stumble upon these little gems hidden in the news pages. Way ta go, CBM!
Ranger14 - 2/8/2010, 3:01 AM
gtrman@ Now those are more entertaining, but I still don't see why one goes to all the effort. Kind of like kissing a hot cousin...it may be exciting at the time, but you know it's never going to go anywhere.

I think calling the ones in the article "Superbowl spots" just means they released them during the Superbowl or around that time. They weren't played on CBS during the game. Kind of a lame actually.
Shaman - 2/8/2010, 6:13 AM
Out of the two, World of Heroes was the best but damn, gtrman... that World's Finest one was AWEGAZMIC!!! I hate the Greyson one though... always did! For a batman fan made trailer, i prefer the predator one and especially the Ashes To Ashes on ;)

Ranger14- I totally agree with your last phrase.

Phine- If the trailer actually had gone on the air during the Superbowl, it should have been concidered main page material. But this is just cool stuff that shouldn't be on main IMO.

LEEE777 - 2/8/2010, 6:30 AM
ED @ You da man!!! ; )

Its just a pity they used WELLING instead of ROUTH, WELLING don't seem right there, like still SUPERBOY lol! : P

GRIF @ Normally id agree, but bah humbug lol, like is DC VS MARVEL dude and [frick]ing cool! ; D
LEEE777 - 2/8/2010, 6:31 AM
Luffy @ Good stuff! ; )

Even better dude!!

Gtrman @ WORLD'S FINEST, classic, great stuff! ; )
thedon786 - 2/8/2010, 7:48 AM
we love this shit.
Ranger14 - 2/8/2010, 9:58 AM
gtrman@ I understand the effort and there must be a lot of personal satisfaction and all, but I personally don't get it, as I know it will never turn into an actual movie, so it is just a creative trailer and nothing more. If they are pitching it to get movie deal, I get that...as long as it is original material and not pasting together clips of movies already shot. I have submitted original demo tracks to the music industry, so I get that.

To each their own. If someone wants to go to the time and effort, no big deal to me. I appreciate your explaining it to me. As a non-film industry person, they just don't do much for me as I know they are still my cousin flirting away. ;-)
MercuryWest - 2/8/2010, 10:06 AM
Go bolts!
droopy1317 - 2/8/2010, 12:37 PM
Yea ozy, your the one to talk, your pats are the cheaters, remember? the colts didn't even play good anyways...So WHO DAT?? SAINTS
thwhtGuardian - 2/8/2010, 12:56 PM
alright, so why are these called superbowl TV spots? Is it because they were styled after the flashy superbowl movie ads?
Ranger14 - 2/8/2010, 1:58 PM
thwtGuardian@ it's called lying to get people to read the article, because they certainly aren't TV spots.
thwhtGuardian - 2/8/2010, 2:03 PM
That's what I thought, I know I didn't see them...and I can't see the people who made these trailers ponying up the 2 million in cash needed to buy a spot.

Really amazing. Superbowl on video???Anyway try to figure out that aside from the video, the team gave dockers as freebies. Everyone loves free stuff, and as per the Super Bowl Commercials, Dockers is giving away free pants. Granted, only 2010 pairs of free Dockers will be given out, but the popularity of signing up for the contest already crashed the servers for Dockers website, albeit temporarily. You can sign up for them until February 15th, and for every e-mail entry, you'll get a coupon for a few bucks off a pair of their pants. The Super Bowl had an abundance of commercials with people, sans pants – maybe a few payday loans worth had to be shaved from production budgets.
flames809 - 2/9/2010, 7:51 PM
wow that was great
jimdrums - 3/1/2010, 10:38 PM
I love it!!! In the future when both the Justce League and Avengers movies are done with there will be only one more direction to go in and thats DC vs Marvel, can you imagine the build-up and great advertising for a story featuring the Hulk vs Superman in a live action movie!!!! DAMN!!! (I need to calm down)
WithGreatediting - 5/27/2010, 4:12 PM
