awesome. awesome, awesome. Man that was awesome. Scott commands, Piotr is a hulking badass, Jean gets her moment to shine and a great intro to Storm - hopefully we get more of that cleansing lightning.

I always thought Bobby was nigh on indestructible in his ice form. I know it has changed over the years but you'd think his 'ice organs/body' would be under his direct control and therefore he'd be able to reconfigure himself if he was shattered so to speak.

anyhow great chapter. Now they can leave Africa and get to fighting this 'weapon'. And when will sinister rear his ugly head again??

Doom you should get a dude to do some art for your series, then compile it into a graphic novel.

I'd buy that.

I agree with Doopie, every character is so well written that it makes me wish Fox would actually pick up a comic book and make their films more like this. Great chapter.

Finally got around to checking this out. Tried to comment on the previous chapters but it wouldn't let me, guess I waited too long. Sorry. But I'll comment on those chapters here, along with this one if that's alright.

First off, back in chapter one, I REALLY dug the spooky vibe. I remember you saying something about trying to emulate Victorian horror novels with that chapter and it really comes through. I got a very Dracula-type feel in the sense that it all seemed...grand, I guess would be a good word to describe it. It felt very large in scale.

Also, in the previous chapters, as in this one, you've done a fantastic job of really fleshing out each character. This is important in a series like X-Men because there are so many characters and it's easy to lose track or to write some as generic stick figures for the sake of time, but it's clear that you focused on making each one different and unique, which I like.

I also think the scale and action in this series has improved over the first Volume. It feels like you're getting a better hang on how to write the action so that it feels fast but not over explained. It's easy to visualize and I really dig that.

Overall, great job.
