im kinda sick of digi-art by now. this is alright, but a lot lacks heart and soul
Doopie - 5/12/2014, 3:53 AM
sweet i like it. definitely think we're gonna see bats school supes at some point in this film. I'm still backing the use of red light though

I guess a picture of Superman walking around with his foot up Batman's ass, using him like a shoe, would have been a little graphic for the kids.
staypuffed - 5/12/2014, 3:59 AM
That's fantastic!
ProfessorX - 5/12/2014, 4:11 AM

The details that show through the shading are amazing. The way the glow of the kryptonite "lights up" is just breathtaking. Clearly, she's taken an art lesson or two:)

When you absolutely, positively want to kick Superman in the mouth: Accept no substitute!
BaronZemo - 5/12/2014, 4:30 AM
Of course this is [frick]ing fake, it's fan art!
kong - 5/12/2014, 4:30 AM
I like it, but I don't see how the fight would be even when Keyptonite makes Superman super weak. The odds would be in Batman's favor if he had Kryptonite. It's such a cop-out for Batman and won't show his badassness at all. There should be two fights. The first where Superman holds back, yet still leaves Batman beaten and maybe wih some fractures in some places. The second fight should have Batman winning where he outsmarts Supes. I don't want him to use Kryptonite. I think lex should, but not Batman.

If Batman doesn't have Kryptonite, he'll lose right? I mean, there is no way Batman could beat Superman without it. Right? If the movie is truly about Batman vs. Superman then I expect Kryptonite will be involved.
Doopie - 5/12/2014, 6:31 AM
superman under 'red light' has no powers. if bats can lead supes into a trap where he is stuck under red light, bats could kick the shit out of him as happens in Red Son

i hope it happens that way
AlexanderLykins - 5/12/2014, 6:37 AM
I guess. I don't think it'd sit well with the general audience. It seems really lame to me.
Brainiac13 - 5/12/2014, 6:49 AM

I think Kryptonite is essential.......but they must use it in a way not done before.

In Superman Doomsday animated movie.....Luthor also used Red Sun radiation to beat the crap out of Cyborg Supes.....I prefer the Kryptonite that this method.

i can see why you'd say that but i think it ties in well with what was established in the first film...superman gets his powers because earth and krypton have different atmospheres and conditions. MOS even made a point of showing the other kryptonians having to get used to being powered up.

without kryptonite (and i do think it should be saved for lex initially) the only way for bats to level the playing field is to recreate the conditions of krypton.

if you haven't read Red Son, i advise it. it's a great book and the above moment is awesome for other reasons that i don't want to spoil
Brainiac13 - 5/12/2014, 7:16 AM

Yeah......Red Son is a fantastic read.
AlexanderLykins - 5/12/2014, 7:19 AM
I'll check it out. Thinking about it more, it sounds pretty cool.
DrAtom - 5/12/2014, 7:53 AM
Not bad, not bad at all.
MrDonut - 5/12/2014, 8:34 AM

Dude! Yes! I've been saying since day, Lex should hurt Supes with Kryptonite whilst Bats goes Red Son on his ass! Would prove how how badass the Bat is and his gift at exploiting other's weaknesses.
OptionFour - 5/12/2014, 9:59 AM
I don't mind the idea of seeing Bats use either Kryptonite or red sunlight to teach Supes some humility, except for two things. The first is that before that we need to see Superman absolutely dominating the fight without any effort, as he would. The way that Superman's powers were established in MoS leaves absolutely no doubt that Bats would just be a stain on the sidewalk if Supes wanted it to be so; the saving grace is that he doesn't want that, and never would.

Secondly, it would require a pretty advanced knowledge of Kryptonians to know that red sunlight would strip them of their powers. The surety that Bats would have to have in that fact in order to bet his own life on it is even more astounding. How would he get this information? Kryptonite (or something similar to it) was demonstrated in MoS, and that makes it seem more viable that they could figure out the link between the two . . . but how would Batman, or even Lex, possess knowledge about Kryptonians that Superman himself doesn't even seem to have?
Doopie - 5/12/2014, 10:40 AM
those are good questions. as much as i like seeing superman getting beaten up, there is a need early on in the film to show his mastery of his powers (and maybe even being a little cocky) which would set up a nice fall in a battle where he is de-powered; it'd teach him something. whether that first smackdown is against bats or someone else i don't mind too much but it works well if it's batman i think

as for acquiring the knowledge. Lex and Bruce are both very intelligent men with vast resources. obviously we can only guess but i think they either get some info and deduce the rest, or they witness something which clearly spells out - green rock and red light bad.
Doopie - 5/12/2014, 11:58 AM
hahahaha that i would like to see. maybe supes, bats and lex could just visit a couple of cafes, score some hookers and put their differences aside.
batmanvsuperman - 6/7/2014, 12:26 AM
Gal gadot is so sexy..this will movie will be [frick]ing awesome
