FAN ART: Two Artists Take On Nolan's Bane, Catwoman, & Batman

FAN ART: Two Artists Take On Nolan's Bane, Catwoman, & Batman

While we wait patiently for new images or new information to be revealed for The Dark Knight Rises, I thought we all might enjoy two different artists interpretation of Christopher Nolan's Scarecrow, Bane, and Catwoman.

Ben Deguzman should be familiar to us, as he is the artist that has created the mash-up illustrations of NBC's Community cast with Street Fighter and Batman heroes and villains. To view those pieces of artwork and whatever else Ben has in his gallery click

While Mr. Hipp is also no stranger to our site as several of his images have been posted here throughout the years. If you'd like to see more of his fabulous artwork click here.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

They forgot to make Bane and Catwoman the same height. Lol
Tainted87 - 2/18/2012, 10:45 PM
I like the last one. It's what just about everyone in the theater said way back when the first teaser trailer came out. :P
FanboyTrump - 2/18/2012, 10:47 PM
If only Bane was that big :/
overlordfombax - 2/18/2012, 11:03 PM
Perfect, straight on through!
overlordfombax - 2/18/2012, 11:05 PM
Actually, Ra's' sword isn't great. That could use more detail. Other than that... sh'bang.
Greengo - 2/18/2012, 11:05 PM
They are the same height she's just standing weird.
batfan175 - 2/18/2012, 11:07 PM
I find it funny how some people can claim that bane is small when in fact most of them are probably out of shape anyway. also, are you going to measure bane every time he shows up on screen just to keep on complaining?
overlordfombax - 2/18/2012, 11:13 PM

More importantly, people are judging the portrayal of Bane in the MOVIE through their observations of out-of-context still photos. I mean, really... you don't think Nolan's cinematography can make Bane LOOK bigger? They made Elijah Wood tiny for 3 LOTR movies... Also, he may transform at some point. We don't know. I wonder how many more times I'll hafta remind people that they haven't seen the movie yet... Sigh.
imapepper23 - 2/18/2012, 11:34 PM
i agree with overlordfombax. people haven't seen the movie yet!
Pontius888 - 2/18/2012, 11:35 PM
they're great!!! The last one made me laugh....
goatmilk - 2/18/2012, 11:38 PM
I wonder if Alfred's ever gonna tell Bruce what the letter from Rachel said. Like maybe he'll still be fixated on her eight years later and Alfred will be like look enoughs enough and then boom the next day dude gets snapped by Bane. Maybe not.
goatmilk - 2/18/2012, 11:40 PM
Also sometimes I wonder if maybe the rise chanting is for Ras and not Bane. Rising from the Laz pits. Again probably not but a theory nonetheless.
overlordfombax - 2/18/2012, 11:44 PM

Hehe, "Rise" could be a mispronunciation of "Ra's"... troll face...

rondz123 - 2/19/2012, 12:58 AM

LMB10 - 2/19/2012, 4:41 AM

xmen145 - 2/19/2012, 5:02 AM
shut up grif.....these are awesome
deanwilkins - 2/19/2012, 6:05 AM
No matter who draws him, or what the angle is, the Nolan Bane looks incredibly stupid. Bring on the reboot.
xXkryptoniteXx - 2/19/2012, 7:28 AM
Joker looks funny lol he should have pose more creepy, this one just looks like a low life thug holding a knife lol

Nice art work

Why all marvel fans hating on this???some marvel fans like both but these ignorant people just keep hating, anything that's related to dark knight.
xXkryptoniteXx - 2/19/2012, 7:31 AM
Btw were is chris nolan's take on zsasz, his character was well fitted in batman begins.
CaptainRon - 2/19/2012, 8:18 AM
not my diagnosis...
MovieMann - 2/19/2012, 8:31 AM
"If only Bane was that big?"
He looks like a gorilla in that pic
dahamma - 2/19/2012, 9:15 AM
Not saying how good Hardys performance will be, but he does not LOOK intimidating at all.
breakUbatman - 2/19/2012, 11:28 AM
In my biased opinion Bane is going to rock, people keep bitching about him but image is not all that makes the character. The Joker looked impressive but what made the performance was the characterization and his body language (he was always hunched over).

Bane walking to the stadium in the trailer sold it for me (but not really I wanted Bane straight after watching TDK)
Wildaniel - 2/19/2012, 12:35 PM
I like them!

Check out these fan made posters of Catwoman!!!
Wildaniel - 2/19/2012, 12:39 PM
The one with scarecrow is a little tooo creepy, lol.
sbdc1939 - 2/19/2012, 12:53 PM
looks cool, except batman is in a fruity pose
MakioGrant - 2/19/2012, 12:57 PM

I liked the "animated" Catwoman ...
KingEmperor - 2/19/2012, 1:01 PM
