I read an editorial a while back, it regarded what would happen if Batman actually killed someone. That inspired me to write this script. While I haven't gotten to that part just yet I think I have something solid on my hands so if you want me to continue let me know. The editorial by headlopper is right here http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/news/?a=56483.

EXT. GOTHAM CITY

THE TOP OF A BUILDING WITH SEARCH LIGHTS IS SHOWN.

Commissioner James Gordon turns on one of the search lights.

GORDON IS A MUSTACHED MAN WITH GRAYING HAIR. THE SEARCH LIGHT HE TURNS ON IS REVEALED TO BE THE BAT SIGNAL.

Gordon still standing there is unaware of Batman behind him.

BATMAN

Jim.

James turns to him.

JAMES

We have a lead.

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM

A terrified man is on the floor crawling for safety away from Batman. Batman walks with an even more angry than usual expression than usual.

BATMAN

Where is Black Mask.

The man screams.

BLACK

EXT. INTERROGATION ROOM

Gordon is standing there and smiling. Arnold Flass and Harvey Bullock walk in with him. Arnold is a blonde, body builder. Harvey is has black hair but wears a 1940s type hat to cover it, he looks as if he downs a lot of donuts. They both look at Batman doing his dirty work through the window.

FLASS

What's he doing here?

HARVEY

That guy has no business In a police station. Unless he's being locked up.

GORDON

Flass and Bullock, What do you want?

FLASS

We wanted to see the progress with the lead.

GORDON

Well, Lieutenant you better get yourself a cup of coffee.

FLASS

Is that so?

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM

Batman pushes the suspect up against the wall.

BATMAN

I don't know an interrogation technique where you don't get hurt.

LEAD

If I tell you he'll kill me.

Gordon walks in through the door to initiate the good cop bad cop routine.

GORDON

Look son, were going to make sure that doesn't happen.

The man changes his face from frightened to cooperative.

LEAD

Okay, he's holding up in an abandoned wear house up at Woodsworth.

GORDON

Thanks for the help son.

They walk out of the interrogation room.

EXT. INTERROGATION ROOM

They are power walking out of the interrogation room. Until they stop in their tracks.

GORDON

That wear house is a big place, you'll need back up.

Batman looks at Bullock and Flass who are giving a dirty look back at him.

BATMAN

Yes, but none of your men.

GORDON

You'll bring your's?

INT. ABANDONED WEAR HOUSE

Inside are goons. Batman and Robin are quietly laying out the thugs. Robin does not have the classic uniform but one that makes him look more intimidating.

They come to a point where they see Black Mask. Black Mask wears a White suit with a blue undershirt and a black tie and wears a black mask that has the appearance of a skull. He is surrounded by more goons. they throw a lot of smoke bombs into the room and while gas is filling the room they take out everyone except Black Mask.

ROBIN

Were bringing you in gorgeous.

BLACK MASK

It's been too long. But on what charges.

BATMAN

Racketeering, Dealing, Murder, Rape.

BLACK MASK

I believe it's lengthier than that, but innocent until proven guilty Batman, and I fail to see any proof.

BATMAN

We have a rat.

BLACK MASK

Oh yeah one problem, do you know if it's possible to testify without a head?

BATMAN

How did you get to him?

BLACK MASK

I have many friends. Now I'm going to have to ask you to leave or I will be forced to call the police.

They exit the building and go home.

I feel like Dr. Strange should be the villain. Make it a very serious take on Arkham City and it would be amazing, but no joker or thugs, just a bunch of trained mercenaries looking for Batman.
