After seeing TDRK I could not help but dream of what Nolan could bring us post-Batman. Would Joseph Gordon-Levitt become the Bat or would he take up the helm as someone else?

The movies hint that the Batman would be his choice, as it is not the person in the suit, but the symbol that is important. I, however, would like to think that John "Robin" Blake would use his new found equipment to start something fresh, seeing as continuing to prance around as the Batman after the city has erected a statue of him would be a bit odd, most statues are made post-mortem.

Here we have it. Nightwing's modified Nomex Survival Suit. I also gave him the electrified Eskrima sticks that various story arcs and video games have given him. I left the cape (barely visible in the pictures) though

This is a movie poster I came up with:

This is a close up, with mask:

Why Batman wouldn't be in your movie? He survives!

I really hope Nolan returns to make a night wing movie. And I also think he would be nightwing and not batman becasue like you said it kinda weird to be batman especially after the whole city saw him die and they put a statue up. They probably left it open just in case Nolan wanted to comeback and do a night wing movie.

who would Dicaprio be?
mbingcrosby - 7/25/2012, 11:09 AM
There was rumor that he was chosen to portray the Riddler by WB for Nolan's final installment.

I suppose that in the storyline I see happening, Nightwing initially protects a Gotham city borough (instead of a separate city) called "Bludhaven" and must protect all of Gotham when the Riddler (Dicaprio) shows up.

Really nice work on the design only I'd lose the cap and I personally think he'd look better if JGL grew out his hair, but that's just me. Really nice work!

Oh and the logo is sweet too!

Updated the goggles/mask-looks more akin to the Selina Kyle mask.

And you'll notice the cape is gone.

I dig it. Cool idea.

Love it (though a lot more since the cape was removed and the mask was added)! The logo is awesome, and I really like the way you editted the suit!
Brilliant stuff dude!

I've got to say, I really feel like this would have been a great introduction of another franchise. Maybe Aronofsky takes this direction? Great job on the concept here.

If any of my suggestions were to be taken into consideration, I'd say lose the cape (a good way to make the character fresh- by giving him an alternate means of descent/gliding/theatricality), modify the suit even more (so that it resembles the idea of what Blake would have done if he saw the Batsuit and said, "Hmm, how can this be better?"), and if you can possibly alter the mask (slightly), something about it seems off. It might just be that it doesn't have the eye paint that Batman has around his eyes to make the eyes look entirely black, which wouldn't be too hard (I don't think).

I'm loving the eskrima sticks. The suit emblem is great. And the logo (while it could still use some work- maybe remove the whole "kapow" thing going on in the background?) definitely shouts fresh.

I dig the manipulated image of Nightwing. Great job on that. Honestly, though, the title should go! The New Knight just doesn't sound right. Otherwise, great job. :)

Oh, he looks better without the goggles (keep the mask), IMO.

antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:10 PM
you should put Johnny Depp as The Riddler for the main scene just like Ra's al Ghul.
antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:14 PM
and Taylor Lautner could be the Robin from the orphange that helps Nightwing (Ex-Officer Robin)
antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:14 PM
Gerard Butler as Mr. Freeze
antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:17 PM
Killer Croc could be Michael Eal White (Joker didnt kill him just cut his face and threw him inside the sewer with Titans)
antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:18 PM
and Poison Ivy could be on the film as Nightwing's ex-girlfriend and Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) as Commissioner Gordon's daughter that fell in love with Nightwing
antoine23james124 - 1/3/2013, 4:20 PM
then again Dicaprio could be a good riddler and Johnny Depp could be the joker lol
LEEE777 - 1/23/2013, 3:43 PM
Love the fan fic but him being Robin spoilt the end for me, totally sucked, well that and all the fake death, Gordon knowing shit.

When I watch it (if) again, I'll make sure to stop it 10 minutes from the end :p

Cool suit btw, hellz yeah for a Nightwing movie!

Hellz no tho to a Nolan one.
