I wanna play a game....no not the murderous type of game..THAT'S TUESDAY =] But seriously let's make an article worth to go on and post comments on. So here's the game.

CONGRATS! A MAJOR MOVIE STUDIO HAS GIVEN YOU THE OPTION TO PRODUCE A COMIC BOOK/SUPERHERO MOVIE! You are given 175 million dollars which includes marketing as well. You are given the option to direct or produce or whichever you choose. You can choose the director, the actors, writers, or any form or cast & crew to be apart of the movie. BUT IT CAN NOT BE YOUR FAVORITE HERO. Here is an example.

My favorite hero is Batman, but I end up making The Flash. It can not be your favorite hero at all because it would be too easy. So like I said I want The Flash.

Director- Brad Bird

Flash/Barry Allen- Tie between Ryan Gosling and Chris Pine

Writers- Brad Bird, Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci, Adrian Kevin Walker (ENTOURAGE LMAO)

Again this is YOUR movie. Meaning this is how you would handle production, this is who you would choose. There is no wrong or right answer here just basically what your ideas would be. Again IT CAN NOT BE YOUR FAVORITE SUPERHERO. This for fun, you can argue or debate up to you if you want too but it's not intended to be like that in this article.

So have fun! Like to see what people would do with certain characters. Again you are the producer. It is your job to make sure you make a quality superhero/comic book movie. Just stick to the rules applied. Also I know the budget really isn't that big of a deal but it's meant to be like the scope of your project, where you can take it and where it can go. Also you can give a synopsis of the movie, give plot details, character traits, act as if you are pitching to Hollywood your idea with a feasible (pretty much 175 million nowadays isn't all that big budget as it was back then) budget.

Yeah isn't news, but I am meant to be working at the moment, so I might as well do this instead.

Fav Hero: Superman

Character I would use for movie: Green Lantern
Title: Sinestro Corps War - The Emerald Knight Saga.
Lead GL/Hal Jordan: Chris Pine/Bradley Cooper
Director: JJ Abrams
Writer: Paul Dini and Bruce Timm
sinestrosmight - 8/5/2012, 5:04 AM
@knightrider, I like that one. GL is my favorite superhero as well, but I would do one from Sinestros point of view.
Knightrider - 8/5/2012, 5:14 AM
@Lordsinestro Yeah my thinking is go with a reboot for the series, but maybe start the movie during the war, open with a huge battle between the corps, think opening to revenge of the sith, but a bit grittier, show Sinestro leading his troops and establish him winning the war.

I would also include a sub-plot with the Black Rings, that would open up to a sequel.

What I would also have is the film being the lead into a JL movie, with the end showing the Sinestro Corps breaking through Earth's last defenses, meaning the League have to form to stop Earths destruction.

Adding to that, I would use certain parts to allow for flashbacks to when Sinestro trained Hal, to show they once had a strong friendship and fought with one another.

Show how Sinestro thinks Hal betrayed him for freeing Sinestros planet, and getting him dismissed from the Corps.

Since Captain America is my favorite Character, I have to go with a Hulk movie.
Title: The Incredible Hulk 2: Rise of the Red Hulk
Lead Bruce Banner/ Hulk: Mark Ruffalo
Director: Joss Whedon
Writer: the ones who wrote the Avengers
ftoons - 8/5/2012, 5:20 AM
This is a cool idea, maybe if each one wrote a synopsis of his film. Then he "releases" it in CBM and that would be like the release of a film. Then we "go to the cinema" (read it) and post our reviews. As I said I think this is a great idea :D

And for DC I would make The Flash movie
Title: The Flash
Lead The Flash/ Barry Allen: Benedict Cumberpatch
Director: A good one
Writers: Comic Book Writers, And don't let WB get their hands on it.
Story: Show an Intro of the First Flash Jay Garrick Passing the mantle to Barry, Have the Mirror Master be the villain and have Kid Flash in the movie somehow, DC references, Have The mirror master create something to Make the Flash believe everyone who is a mirrored version is murdered, End Credits Scene: Jon Jonzz(can't spell sorry} going to earth and lead up to JLA or Have a close up on an underwater city, and then shows a figure in an Atlantean costume and it's Aquaman , End scene

I wish this were a joke to parody the similar articles that have occupied the editorial wall for the past week...

Thankfully those were actually pretty decent and didn't revolve around the same character.
marvel72 - 8/5/2012, 9:59 AM
@ pux

spawn lives with bums in an alleyway, how do you know how the film will turnout, can't be any worse than the spawn movie we got.

MitchConner - 8/5/2012, 6:37 PM
Punisher

I'd plan it as a trilogy, and I'd make it as real as possible...hate to be cliche about it, but id start it up like BB. Hell I might even hire Nolan to do it.
Tainted87 - 8/5/2012, 8:50 PM
Alright, I'll stop being a spoil-sport and play.

My favorite character is either Batman or Nightcrawler, but I'm going to go with someone who doesn't get enough love.

Title: The Last Manhunter from Mars
Writer: Me
Screenplay: Stan Berkowitz
Genre: Computer Animation
Director: Andrew Stanton (Obvious, really)
Producers: M. Night Shayamalan, Jim Morris
Characters/Actors: J'onn J'onzz (Antonio Banderas), M'yr'ya J'onzz (Rosario Dawson), K'hymm J'onzz (Janina Gavankar), Ma'alefa'ak J'onzz (Dev Patel)...

PREMISE!!!!
After M'yr'ya is telepathically assaulted by Ma'alefa'ak, J'onn is thrust in the emotionally draining situation of overseeing his wife's recuperation while also teaching his mind-wiped, memory-less brother what it means to be a Martian. Meanwhile, an exiled White Martian cruiser returns to Mars with a precious cargo of "liberated" Red and White Saturnians, which they hope will change their homeworld forever.
