The Speed Force is a vaguely-defined extra-dimensional energy force from which most, but not all, superspeed-powered heroes in the DC Comics universe draw their enhanced abilities. JLA: Earth 2 is a DC comic written by Grant Morrison with art by Frank Quitely...It follows the first post-Crisis encounter between the Justice League of America and their evil counterparts from an antimatter universe, the Crime Syndicate of Amerika. Note, this takes place many years after the formation of the JLA, so no teenie bopping boy band castings here, enjoy...
First appearing in The Brave and the Bold #28 (February/March 1960), the League originally appeared with a line-up that included Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. That is that line up here with a couple of others thrown into the DC mix. I thought why not a JLA weekly TV series by Warner Brothers, come on, who wouldn't not watch that, hope you enjoy...
Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his scientist father Jor-El, moments before Krypton's destruction. Discovered and adopted by a Kansas farmer and his wife, the child is raised as Clark Kent and imbued with a strong moral compass. Very early he started to display superhuman abilities, which upon reaching maturity he resolved to use for the benefit of humanity...
I thought star studded cast is needed for the revamp, get as many butts on seats and make a movie masterpiece, plenty of crime bosses, pure grit, no supervillains and just a gritty crime action drama on the big screen!
Each Green Lantern wields a power ring that can generate a variety of effects, sustained purely by the ring wearer's strength of will. The greater the user's willpower, the more effective the ring. Come and check out this new Green Lantern Corps massive casting...
Happy July the 4TH! Yep you guessed it, a superhero casting to celebrate the day here at comicbookmovie.com! Come on in and see for yourself, hey if I've missed any let me know and I'll put them up, enjoy...
The X-Men are a superhero team in the Marvel Comics Universe. They were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). The basic concept of the X-Men is that under a cloud of increasing anti-mutant sentiment, Professor Xavier created a haven at his Westchester mansion to train young mutants to use their powers for the benefit of humanity, and to prove mutants can be heroes. Xavier recruited Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast and Jean Grey...
Okay I've wanted to bring this out ages ago, its been sitting around half done since last year, i also wanted to bring this out on ST. George's day but never had the chance (last Friday). Well happy late ST. George's day and enjoy. By the way Excalibur is a Marvel Comics superhero group, an offshoot of the X-Men, usually based in the United Kingdom. Conceived by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer Alan Davis, the original Excalibur first appeared in Excalibur: The Sword is Drawn...
Superheroines you gotta love them, in all your favorite superhero comic books. As its Easter and all i thought it'll be fun to do a casting of some of your favorite female comic book characters. Yes its for fun only, so don't take it too seriously and um, its full of Adult stars, don't worry no nudity here but PG-13 is advised...
This is something i have been thinking about for a long long time, a DC comics inspired TV show, much like The Outer Limits, every week new cast new characters and the DC universe is endless the series could go on forever.
Happy St Patrick's day! I have done a casting of Irish comic book characters for all to enjoy. there are as many as i could think of from various comic book companies, some you may have never heard of, some you probably have. I hope you have a great day today and don't get too drunk lol, come on in...
Since there have been three different Captain Canucks, this movie will feature all three through the years. Many know who Captain America is, even Captain Britain, but how many know of this Canadian gem of a character. This is a casting for the patriotic Superhero Captain Canuck...
Justice League International (or JLI for short) is a spin off DC Comics superhero team that was written by Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis, with art by Kevin Maguire. Its a more light hearted look at the JLA and to me the most enjoyable and best read in DC comics ever, if not all the comic books i have ever read. Enclosed is Batman, Guy Gardner, Fire & Ice and many more great superheroes....
The release of The Fantastic Four #1 (Nov. 1961) was an unexpected success. Stan Lee had felt ready to leave the comics field at the time, but the positive response to Fantastic Four persuaded him to stay on. The title began to receive fan mail, and Lee started printing the letters in a letter column with Issue #3. Also with the third issue, Lee created the hyperbolic slogan "The Greatest Comic Magazine in the World!!" With the following issue, the slogan was changed to "The World's Greatest Comic Magazine!" Check out the reboot movie casting right here...
Well this isn't a script, its a movie casting on characters and actors who should play their respective parts. Not a huge casting but the main players plus new ones, don't need too many in a Batman movie and of course.
Hawkworld started out as a three issue limited series by Timothy Truman in 1989, and then it led to an ongoing series that lasted for four years (1990 - 1993) which included 32 issues, along with 3 annuals, by Truman and John Ostrander. After the Hawkworld ongoing series ended, Hawkman was spun-off into his own series (Hawkman volume 3) which lasted from 1993-1996. I have done the casting to the epic three issue mini series for a feature film, but it can also be spun into a Hawkman TV series following on just like the Hawkworld regular DC comic did, enjoy.
Justice League Europe was a DC Comics book run that was a spin-off of the comic book Justice League America (Justice League International). After the membership of the Justice League had grown to an unwieldy number of characters, DC split it into two teams. The original Justice League of Europe consisted of: Captain Atom (field commander), The Elongated Man (with his wife Sue assisting), Power Girl, Flash (Wally West), Rocket Red, Animal Man, Metamorpho, Wonder Woman (who left after only one mission) and then later members of the original team included: Crimson Fox, Blue Jay and Silver Sorceress. Come on in and see the casting...
This is a Captain America casting, but this one is not as such a "Captain America: First Avenger" casting as more of a casting of Captain America characters. You'll be pleased to know i'm not one for using the same actor over and over again, so no Jason Lewis, Sam Worthington, Ryan McPartlin, etc here. Again i have found a Captain America to keep it fresh and some of you fan boys will be pleased to know not only is he young, tall, blonde, blue eyed, but he's all American too. Keep in mind this is not just a Steve Rogers solo casting, now come on in and have a look...
Femforce is a comic book published by A.C. Comics. The team are, as their name implies, all female Superheroes, and are the first and the longest running all-women 'super-team'. Well hope you like, take a look...
Arkham Asylum is located on the outskirts of Gotham City and is where those of Batman's foes considered to be legally insane are incarcerated. I have not really done a Batman cast as much, just a Justice League of America, so come on in and join the crazy fun...
X-Factor was the original X-Men of Angel, Beast, Cyclops, Marvel Girl and Iceman forming the group to save mutant kind. I have been asked a few times now to do an X-Men casting, though i'll probably will do one at some point, thought i should dip into the X-verse, so i bring you (My favorite) X-Factor...
I have been working on this a while now, the original superhero team known as The Invaders. Set in World War II, these superheroes fought for our freedom against Nazi Germany trying to take over the world at the time. Yes Captain America is in the mix but don't worry, he wont be an actor you've come across here, no Jason Lewis, Sam Worthington, Leo Dicaprio, Ryann McPartlin, Teddy Sears, Michael Weatherly or any other Captain America for that matter for this Invaders Marvel movie.
Each Green Lantern wields a power ring that can generate a variety of effects, sustained purely by the ring wearer's strength of will. The greater the user's willpower, the more effective the ring. Come and check out the Green Lantern Corps huge fan cast...
Joker steals a large piece of Kryptonite from Gotham and then he decides to come to the city of Metropolis offering to kill Superman for Lex Luthor for a price. Batman's not far behind hunting the clown down.
