Former SNL Cast Member to Pen LOONEY TUNES Reboot
The short lived SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE regular best known for dropping the f-bomb during her first appearance (and not being asked to return the following year) has been hired to write the latest attempt at bringing a live-action/CGI LOONEY TUNES film to screens.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, WARNER BROTHERS has tasked Jenny Slate with writing the script for a new live-action/cgi film that would reboot the LOONEY TUNES.
This would be the third attempt, along with the films LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION and SPACE JAM, at such a project since 1996.
Why WB is so intent on mixing the LOONEY TUNES characters with live-action actors instead of simply making a new animated film for them to star in, is unknown.
One of the producers on the reboot is Seth Grahame-Smith, writer of recent films DARK SHADOWS and ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE KILLER.
Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman headlined the previous attempt at bringing back Bugs Bunny and pals, LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION (directed by Joe Dante).
