In the history of other media besides comic books dealing with Spider-Man, we've either had movies, animation, or video games. So he's never been dealt with in live-action television. Now I am aware that there was a live-action TV series made during the 70s but not only did that not work due to inadequate technology, but it also never really tried to capture the essence of what it's like to be Spider-Man. I think that the advancements in technology are allowing some leeway for more and more comic book characters whose stories would be better suited for the small screen as opposed to the big screen (ex. Spider-Man, Batman, and The Hulk). Now I know that some people, especially on here (Yes HailToTheKingBaby, that means you.) would rather see an older Spidey series (despite the fact that his high school experiences have been barely touched in other forms of media) but I think a live-action Spider-Man TV series could take advantage of the format and really show how hard it is to juggle schoolwork, a job, and a social life, with battling super villains every single day. But here's the main question, would you want to see a live-action Spider-Man TV series if it were done right?
