Do you mind humans being in the Transformers films?

Okay, I've had enough of hypocritical Transformers fans saying that they don't want humans to be the focus of the films, but they want the films to take place on Earth. Now there is the argument that they are "refugees", but aren't there many other planets in the TF universe for the characters to go to aside from Earth if you don't want humans. The point of a "live-action" Transformers film is that you have an actual world in which to work with. If they just focused on the TFs, then you would just be making a film where you film the background and place CGI characters in it.

I don't mind I just wish the films didn't focus more on them than they do on the actual Transformers

The next movie needs to be a prequel of what happened on cybertron. Nuff said
er101 - 1/31/2012, 12:49 PM
Less screen time for humans and more for the decepticons and autobots.
PaulRom - 1/31/2012, 12:52 PM
I don't care really, as long as the focus is on the Bots.

How is this news? Move to editorials.

wouldn't mind seeing a transformers movie set on cybertron.

autobots vs decepticons would awesome but maybe you need the human element to get people to actually watch it.
AutobotCommander84 - 1/31/2012, 1:22 PM
A Transformers movie set on Cybertron probably won't happen because they can't make a game out of it and Hasbro would need to promote the film by doing so. And the focus shouldn't be only on the bots because then there would be no point in having it in live-action.

Humans were used just fine in the first one. I liked the balance of robots and humans in that movie.

Humans in the next two were just annoying as hell.

The point to this poll is What?? There will be no more movies for the foreseeable future so who cares?
wedontdie - 2/1/2012, 4:55 PM
@Autobotcommander84! what about war for cybertron? that was a game based on cybertron? The first film was the best because it balanced both humans and bots really well while the other films were just shit. I believe that a live action movie doesn't have to require humans as long as the autobots can evoke emotions to have a real story either about loss, anger, or pride but not love or happiness because I don't think autobots need love or happiness.
AutobotCommander84 - 2/2/2012, 1:06 PM
@wedontdie It probably wouldn't work out because #1. Hasbro is all about marketing a global brand like this and they would probably need to make a video game and novelization to promote it which wouldn't work out for obvious reasons and #2. A live-action Transformers movie DOES need humans or there would be no reason for it to be live-action.
