VIDEO GAMES: New JUSTICE LEAGUE iOS Game Coming This Summer

Yet another game based on DC Comics' Justice League has been announced, as Netmarble has revealed plans to release an iOS game titled Justice League: Earth's Final Defense. Check out the first trailer and more details after the jump.

Netmarble Mobile has announced that they are developing an iOS game based on DC Comics' Justice League team. Recently, we heard that Warner Bros. was interested in pushing their marketing campaign featuring these characters ahead of their planned big screen debut, and one of these ways to market them is through video games (with Injustice: Gods Among Us set for 2013 and an untitled Arkham Asylum prequel apparently planned for a 2014 release). It looks like you can add Netmarble's Justice League: Earth's Final Defense to the list.

The game's playable characters are Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash and Green Lantern (it's currently unknown if these will be the only playable characters available, however). You will be able to unlock new costumes and features for each character as the game progresses; you can maximize a player's skills/strengths with "Support Hero Cards". Justice League: Earth’s Final Defense features RPG elements as well. Below is the debut trailer for the game:



Justice League: Earth's Final Defense is expected to hit iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch this summer, possibly at the end of the month. Will you be checking this game out?

i think earths last line of defence would sound better as final defence opens the door to the they wont do it again if earth is attacked

WB are shoving Justice League on everyone pretty hard ! But who can blame them Avengers kicked-ass
They have even changed Warner Bros Movie World (Australia)so much that its not about the movies anymore and just there brands mostly DC COMICS its getting pretty hectic. With 2 Batman rides,Superman roller coaster that has him pushing the ride (very fast & cool),Brand new Green Lantern ride and they changed Lethal weapon into Arkham Asylum as well and later this year they are bringing a Justice League ride its advertised all around the park so this is defiantly a priority for the guys running Warner.

So awesome :D I wish they did something like this for the vita, looks great though for an iPhone game. Hope they really make each character feel different.

Nice! I'll definitely try it out. I'm guessing by the pictures shown (classic Tim Drake Robin) there are a mix of DCnU and Preboot characters!

Awesome, seems like a JL film is defo in the works as they seem to be really starting early with their marketing push.

Plus from what I understand WB have clicked that they can use DC comics as their next big franchise now that Harry Potter and TDKR have all but finished.

The Flash looks pretty [frick]ing cool though. Would like to see more pics of how he looks there. That suit would be sweet in live action.

I'm so tired of hearing people talk shit about how DC is not doing as much when compared to Marvel. DC is developing better cartoons, creating tv shows, and video games. DC has alot on their plates when compared to Marvel.

Title is strange, but trailer looks okay. I'd rather have something like this for consoles instead of Ipod cause it gets old too fast.

Please DCE, don't start with a Justice League movie. Do solo films and build up like Marvel did. The anticipation is 20x stronger then and that translates directly into $$$ btw

LOL dude, it's inevitable, people always make comparision of new things with things of the same media that already exists or that are the best in the medium, like people comparing new Marvel TV shows with DC's, or people comparing new DC movies with Marvel's. Just go with it.

@Action & SJL97 I most certainly agree with U both. I mean I love Marvel too & glad they are doing well but I am tired of people acting like DC has almost nothing when DC has many of the great things U mentioned. Major props to both of U for mentioning that U r correct & one of the biggest from DC opens this Friday continuing the DC Nation in the DC Universe, The Dark Knight Rises :)
