Superman looks stupid without the trunks.

Hm... something seems wrong with that statement. But I do prefer the classic look.

don't do anything for me but whatever floats your boat.

Oh man the marketing of this film is reminding me soo much of that Green Lanturd movie. Coincidence?
superbigguy32 - 2/5/2013, 4:38 PM
Since the 'Man of Steel' is suppose to be based on "the real world". I hope they explain how the hell Superman cuts his hair, shave, and cut his finger & toe nails.
CavEl - 2/5/2013, 5:08 PM

He uses a very diluted concentration of his heat-vision and reflects it off a mirror.
CavEl - 2/5/2013, 5:09 PM
@ Dev7 - No coincidence...they're from the same parent company, you know?
Nemeres - 2/5/2013, 5:12 PM
Holy crap, he looks like Ecuadorian president Rafael Correa.

batman had black trunks but nobody complained when they was removed from the films lol okay I still dont mind the trunks, but welcome to the 21st century, things change
hero1684 - 2/5/2013, 5:19 PM
What the hell? how in the hell kids suppose to play with that? Might as well play with a hanger!
CASH - 2/5/2013, 5:33 PM
LOL They are really selling up the attitude of this Superman. It's what I been asking for and that's what they are giving us. For decades we have complained that they make the live action Supes too nice and goody-two-shoes. For once they are showing the other side that the GA/none readers and followers of the character don't get to see or even knew existed. Even showing it in the toys.
TheRedBlueBlur - 2/5/2013, 5:34 PM
as long as you can identify who the character is, thats good enough. will get this!!!
norseman79 - 2/5/2013, 5:46 PM
These toys are stupid looking. Supes looks like he has a beer gut.

I realize they're intended to be super-deformed or w/e. Just don't find them interesting in any way.
Webhead007 - 2/5/2013, 6:05 PM
@norseman79 Calm your tits, they're just toys....
Grabthemcakes - 2/5/2013, 7:21 PM
I was all for a good action figure when I was a kid but damn these Mez-Itz toys are ugly. To me, even when I was a kid, I liked having a nice figure that closely resembled what my hero looked like in the movie’s / TV shows. These things just look silly and I hope they are for ages 5 & under. I don’t care which series / hero Mez-Itz toys makes they plain out look silly.

I’m all for merchandise making money so I’m sure there is an audience for these dolls somewhere.
CharacterAssassin - 2/5/2013, 7:28 PM
Choking hazard up ahead.
thewolfx - 2/5/2013, 8:18 PM
There goes the idiots sayin we dont care what they look like aslong as ws can recognize them.

You morons are the reason why spidey has new balances on his feet.

Im not saying there suits should be completely faithful but atleast respect it
sinaesthesia - 2/5/2013, 8:59 PM
Didn't Batman use wear his undies on the outsite too? Interesting how much fuss is made over Superman's new look. I think if anything it just needs a red belt or line around his waist to balance it out a bit more perhaps.
rbfn04 - 2/5/2013, 9:21 PM
You know why people make such a bit fuss over Superman's new look? BECAUSE IT AIN'T DONE RIGHT! Not in DCnU, not in MoS. MoS comes closer to a nice moldernization but misses the mark in so many details from colors to gauntlets to daddy's underalls.
SkateandDestroy88 - 2/5/2013, 10:20 PM
All right nerds here are my predictions for Man of Steel. Jimmy Olsen, Lex Luther and Most importantly Superman's red undies are being saved for the sequel. These snipets of info I have have just made up but whatever if your taking the time to read this crud comment.
SkateandDestroy88 - 2/5/2013, 10:23 PM
It's like people would say before about not going anywhere or being a productive member of lame society and shit but the joke is on them cause if can manage to exist for few more months will be watching man of Steel Haahaa. To the bank.
When I saw the Avengers at midnite I smoked some super dank Obama Kush and I thought to myself. . What a wonderful world. . .
damntree - 2/5/2013, 10:25 PM
FFS with the underwear. What is the obsession with it? He has a cape, big S and correct color scheme. He's Superman. Superman is not defined by some [frick]ing speedos.
mgeoff88 - 2/5/2013, 10:42 PM
That MOS Superman toy is looking into my very soul. :P

They need to repaint his face. The face looks way too intense for Superman.
neonrehan - 2/6/2013, 1:04 AM
That guy who wants us to respect the costume acts like creators and our fathers are rolling in their graves...

Maybe this no underwear thing is the rosa parks of our culture...which would make your obsession with underwear and rejection of superhero cleats ...dare I say it the... Comicbook Supremacists

Like what I did there? I related my argument to this months celebration. Yay for comedic timing.
neonrehan - 2/6/2013, 1:07 AM
And why does your daddy wear blue, webb-meshed Lycra type underalls? Why do you know what they look like?
rbfn04 - 2/6/2013, 4:33 AM
yes, because I didn't mean Jor-El's underalls. *rolls eyes*

Facade - 2/6/2013, 5:37 AM
Beer-gut Superman...hahaha.
guywithanopinion - 2/6/2013, 9:36 AM
How could they forget Supe's trademark 1 front curl on his forehead? Does he not have it in the actual movie? Other then that its not my thing.
Nomis1800 - 2/6/2013, 10:36 AM
Superman high as FAK looking angry and stuff.... Kind of like... HE COULD PUNCH SOMETHING!!!!!
SkateandDestroy88 - 2/6/2013, 12:55 PM
NOMIS 1800 WORDDDD!!!!!! being high iiiiis awesome. Punching stuff oh yeah. Does it get any more awesome. Holy hell dudes. this is it the home strectch. ahhhhhh yeahhhhh
Archangel82 - 2/7/2013, 9:18 AM
I'm loving the superman suit for man of steel. I think it's an improvement from his new 52 look which I'm not very fond of. Superman looks much better with an open collar. I also don't like the belt design from the new 52. My only complaint with the costume designs from this film is general zods symbol. His symbol is the same shape as supermans shield. Only superman has the triangular shaped shield. In the donner films only the house of El had the triangular shield everyone else had a different shaped crest on their chest. Even though Smallville sucked I would have preferred zods symbol from the show. Either way this movie will rock and I can't wait to see it. Someone out their has to agree with me.
