Cobra Commander And Storm Shadow Featured In New G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Stills

Three more stills from Paramount's 3D sequel G.I. Joe: Retaliation have been released, and they feature Cobra Commander (and his takeover of the White House) and Storm Shadow. Hit the jump to check them out.

A follow-up to the 2009 release G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, which grossed more than $300 million worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, presents G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.








G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Channing Tatum, Bruce Willis, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park and Ray Stevenson. The film is set to hit theaters March 28th.

@ahhmynuts: I think he was frozen in suspended animation at the end of the first one. Sort of like how Cap froze when he was thrown into the ocean. They could easily say that his ninja training helped him shut himself down in order to serve.

Now look in the background of this next pic. Notice the tubes. In the one pic he is bleeding, but after he leaves the chamber his wounds are healed. Healing tubes perhaps?

@TheHeat: You hit the nail on the head there. I hope that in the reboot they use a material like the new Supes suit, but just say that it's a new type of kevlar material. Shoot, he could even be shown developing it himself.

@sephiroth211: Why is it that cosplayers can make better outfits than some of these Hollywood people? A little more expensive material for that Cobra Commander cosplayer and the outfit would be perfect.

Cobra camander looks amazeing but i think he's ganna have a deep voice like the first movie. They got a new cast but atleast there not teenagers.

Cobra Commander in the new film looks good, but still. There's no reason his outfit needs to be black, nor did his helmet need to be changed from the cartoon version as you can see with the cosplayer.
