TRANSFORMERS 4 To Shoot In Chicago; GODZILLA Working Title Revealed
Some production updates for two of 2014's biggest blockbusters. Transformers 4 will be return to Chicago to film for a few months, while Legendary's Godzilla reboot now has a working title and is shooting in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Here are some production updates for a couple of anticipated 2014 blockbusters. First up, according to Canada.com, Legendary Pictures' Godzilla reboot is now being filmed in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Plus, the working title for the Gareth Edwards-directed movie (which stars Aaron Johnson, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn) is Nautilus. Meanwhile, Reel Chicago confirms that director Michael Bay's fourth Transformers movie (which stars Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor) will shoot in the city from July to October, with production staff expected to land in June. The last installment in the series, 2011's Dark Of The Moon, was filmed in Chicago. It was previously reported that the fourquel will be shot/set in China, but that may have changed. Additionally, The Wachowkis' sci-fi film Jupiter Ascending (which has a recently announced release date of July 25th, 2014) will film in Chicago for 4-5 weeks, beginning June 24th.
Godzilla opens in theaters May 16th, 2014, while Transformers 4 arrives June 27th that year.
