New IMAX Poster For IRON MAN 3 Debuts

Merging previously seen posters together, a new IMAX one-sheet for Marvel's Iron Man 3 is now online, featuring the main cast of the highly anticipated threequel. Hit the jump to check it out.

Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?




Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale, Jon Favreau and Sir Ben Kingsley. The film is set to hit theaters May 3rd.

No it's not gold, just the lighting makes it look gold. He is actually in the Iron Patriot armor.

Yeah there's something to be said about over-producing a poster, it looks too "clean". A good poster should spark the imagination.

Rhodey's clearly wearing a blue suit and Stark clearly a gold suit. Don't quite see what's so bad about this poster, just a basic film poster featuring the main characters like pretty much any film has, including every single Marvel Studios film. I personally like it, prefer it to the same-ish posters for Iron Man 1 and 2.

They should have made a Mandarin and Iron Man only poster. And when I say Iron Man, I mean Iron Man with his helmet on. Every planet in the universe knows Robert Downey Jr. is in the movie, you don't need to advertise him further to the detriment of the real Iron Man on poster.

They threw this together with existing posters but Mandy's pic doesn't fit into the scheme.

The first Iron Man poster is still awesome (the one Alex posted up there). It has a Drew Struzen quality about it. Great positioning.

I want a poster like Iron Man and Iron Man 2. The posters for Avengers and now Iron Man 3 have all sucked dick thanks to the lazy-ass photoshop-novices Marvel hired for promotional stuff.

Whoever Marvel fired, whoever used to do Marvel Studios posters, they're probably laughing right now. Iron Man's were great. The Incredible Hulk's were terrific. Iron Man 2's were nothing to complain about. Thor's were good. Captain America's were fresh and very fitting. Avengers' were a sloppy mess. And now with Iron Man 3's, eeeewwwwww....

You guys are seriously complaining about a POSTER now? Do you guys just not know how to keep your opinion to yourself?
For all of you people saying that it's a terrible poster. Try it. Make one yourself. Go ahead, post it here. And if it's better than the professional official poster, then you can make fun of it all you want. Until then, just be quiet and wait for the movie.

Is it me or does Gwyneth Paltrow look like an anime character of some sort on that poster? I mean they airbrushed her to look 17. But it's the hair that does it.
