Universal's sci-fi film Oblivion, which stars Tom Cruise, has grossed over a million dollars in late night/midnight showings on Thursday. The Joseph Kosinski-directed movie is expected to gross over $30M in its domestic opening weekend.
According to Deadline, Universal Pictures' science fiction actioner Oblivion has grossed a decent $1,103,839 in Thursday late night and Friday midnight showings after opening in 1,741 domestic theaters. The film, directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Tom Cruise, is expected to have a $30M+ domestic opening this weekend, which would lead to the biggest box office opening of April 2013.
