Is BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Actually JUSTICE LEAGUE? Not So Fast...
A couple of days ago, WB producer Daniel Alter sent out a tweet that led many to believe that the untitled Man of Steel sequel is not a Batman vs Superman (as we were told) but actually a Justice League movie. But that's not the full story, hit the jump to find out more.
Warner Brothers' next DC project, tentatively named Batman vs Superman, has had many fans speculating recently that it is not a Batman vs Superman movie but in fact is actually a cover up for a Justice League movie. With the addition of Wonder Woman, rumors of Doomsday (a villain that one would assume would be used for a Superman or Justice League film), The Flash, and Nightwing, along with Green Lantern surfacing as well. You can't blame anyone for at least thinking that it could be a possibility. But the important thing to remember is that those are rumors, and most will likely turn out to be false. But, what added much more speculation to that was when Daniel Alter, a Warner Brothers' producer, sent out this tweet a couple of days ago:
Alter has also claimed multiple things regarding his film, including saying Batman would be "tired", along with no longer speaking to Robin, Wonder Woman will be a part of the film, and Doomsday will appear. Now, what he said about Batman was already confirmed, and let's not forget he has said he is not affiliated with this project in the least, but is just tweeting his speculations or things he may have heard. Now, if this is not enough, our very own nailbiter11 approached Mr. Alter on Twitter, and this is how things played out:
So there you have it; this appears to just be his "wishful thinking" and it seems best to wait for an official announcements from Warner Brothers. This DOES NOT confirm Batman vs Superman is Justice League. Now, that doesn't completely rule out the theory that this is Justice League, as anything could happen, but that may be "wishful thinking". With filming set to commence next month, some announcements will come soon enough! What are your thoughts on this intense speculation? Sound off below!
