A question arises about the movie, The Dark Knight Rises ''Does Batman Die or Live''. Well there is leaked information about the ending of Batman movie. Here is one description about the end of the movie.

''In the end, Talia Al Ghul played by Miranda Kate apppears and kills Bane after Batman wounds him. In order to prevent Bane's masterplan of using the Nuclear Fission Device developed by Wayne Enterprises to destroy Gotham, Batman puts it inside the Bat and flies it into Gotham River, where the explosion ultimately doesn't kill anyone. In the aftermath of the explosion, the remains of the Bat wash ashore, but a body is never found''.

''Gotham is rebuild, and Alfred, alone once more, decides to continue his travels. As he visits Paris, he spots a man in a cafe that looks like Bruce, and prepares to approach him, but stops himself after he notices a woman that appears to be Catwoman next to him. He leaves, never learning if that is Bruce, who faked his death, or a couple that resembles Batman and Catwoman''.

''Officer John Blake, on the other hand, is searching for Bruce Wayne, and ventures into the abandoned Wayne Manor after Alfred leaves. He ends up walking through the waterfall into the Batcave, where Batman's uniform and equipment have been left behind. Realizing that Wayne was Batman all along, Blake removes his badge and tosses it on the river, and looks on to the symbol in Batman's uniform.''

The Second Description is
'' Talia does not kill Bane,it is Selina driving the Batman Motor and uses the bomb to shoot Bane. And Batman is wound by Talia with a knife.

To tell you the truth, I don't care what happens in the end of the movie as long Batman does not die.

Man I really gotta see this movie. I really hope the cafe scene involving Alfred, Bruce and Selina is clear and there alive and Ok, I would hate Nolan ends the movie the same way he did with Inception where is up to viewer to determined whether there alive or dead.

what!?!?! but thats what makes a GREAT film. when the director leaves the audience on the edge of their seats questioning everything they "think" they know.

inception was a great flick, it would have a shitty film if nolan would have given us all the answers.... "oh hes awake" that kinda sucks dont you think??

The Alfred scene is a reference to something said earlier in the film; it's kind of vague whether Bruce was really there or not. In any case it would be WAY out of character for Bruce to let Alfred believe he's dead to run off with a piece of tail, though (IMO)

mikemandias i get what your saying, but not for this film

Either kill Batman and lets move on or give him a happy ending. What's the point of leaving Alfred and the audience in a cafe not knowing if Bruce is dead or alive especially if your not going to do another Batman film. He said he was going to give us a conclusion to Batman legacy, instead your going to leave us with question F**** that.

That description is not totally acurate, some of the details are a bit off. Upon seeing it, it is a lot better then this sounds!!!

The ending is one of the most satisfying trilogy conclusions ever. As for Bruce, his fate is NOT subjective. It is rather clear. It makes a lot of sense actually.

Everyone knew Wayne was Batman, but he still talked with a scratchy voice around all of them. Seriously, they all knew, it was silly. I just wrote a review fairly spoiler free.

i didnt see john blake toss his badge into the river...all i saw the the platform rising..then they show a close up of the water falling off it...i didnt see no police badge...

He doesn't truly die because upon Lucius's inquiry, it is revealed that someone by the name of Bruce Wayne has fixed the autopilot in the bat.

not just anyone can become batman... bruce wayne had training with the league of shadows. john blake is just a scrawny arm, random police officer.

Catwoman kills Bane with the shot from the Batpod not Talia.

When Bruce punches Banes mask he loosens up the toobing, and Talia is seen putting it back together after she stabs Batman

What in the world? Part of this description is totally wrong. Alfred sees Bruce...he does not just think he saw him, it was really him. Period, end of story. Batman lives.

The Pearls that belonged to Bruce's mother are the key. When Selina stole them Bruce and Alfred were the only ones who knew the Pearls were trackable...it is mentioned at the end that the pearls are missing, so Afred traces them to the cafe that Selina and Bruce are at!! Amazing ending to an amazing trilogy

I know heaps of people loved that ending, but for me it was like....really?

why would Bruce not tell Alfred that he's alive? it's his ONLY family in the world...what a douchebag! And he runs off with a career criminal, who KICKED and ROBBED a CRIPPLE! and shot and killed many, many people. Just the kind of person Batman should punch in the face, not run away with.
I'm cool with Bruce starting a new life. Awesome. But why with her? and what a crappy way to leave Alfred swinging in the wind! He makes Alfred track down frickin pearls, just to find out if he's alive or dead? What a jerk!
I just thought it was a little in bad taste, and didn't ring true to the guy we've seen for 3 movies. i expected a little bit better craftsmanship.
For the record, the endings for JGL and Gordon were great, they were the most satisfying for me. But Bruce and poor Alfred...ugh. Not even a phonecall Bruce? really?

I don't think Alfred tracked Bruce down, I think it was the other way around. Bruce knew that Alfred went to holiday in Paris once a year and that he went to that cafe. With his skills he could have easily figured out when Alfred would be there. Alfred looked a little surprised to see Bruce, whereas Bruce didn't. Plus Alfred told him that his wish had been to see Bruce leading a new life, that they would just smile to each other and that would be that. I think Bruce was just trying to give Alfred the ending he always wanted, plus kind of says no hard feelings about the letter.

Funny how the discription above was semi-cprrect on how the movie actually ended. The way it ended was perfect to me, Bruce finally finding peace in life, he can finally get away from being a Wayne/Batman and just be normal.

Uh, is it necessary to say there are SPOILERS ahead? Batman doesn't die. Otherwise, the info about the Bat's auto-plot being repaired is unnecessary. ANND in the café scene, you clearly see it's Bruce with Selina... AAAND weren't Bruce alive, no-one would have given Blake the indications as to howto get to the BatCave. End of discussion.
