Official Kick-Ass Movie Site Debuts

Director Matthew Vaughn's adaptation of the popular comic book by Mark Millar gets an official internet presence, with a sweeping opening sequence!

















Lionsgate recently released four new teaser posters for Kick-Ass, director Matthew Vaughn's dark teen superhero movie adaptation of the comic book by Mark Millar, with each of the four posters spotlighting one of the "heroes" of the film: Aaron Johnson as Dave "Kick-Ass" Lizewski, Nicolas Cage as Damon "Big Daddy" Macready, Chloe Moretz as Mindy "Hit Girl" Macready, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Chris "Red Mist" D'Amico.

Now, the official movie site for the film has debuted, though with limited content at the moment.

Kick-Ass opens April 16, 2010!

Hey over at Screen Rant theres something about WILLEM DEFOE never playing GREEN GOBLIN again, not sure if we've had this here, don't think so though.

Its interesting though.

Yo, I tried to peep the site but it never loaded.... either way this movie will be awesome. Its pitaful that popular marvel movies dont follow their example and make modern day movies for modern day fans.

as i said on a post before i haven't this title before but this movie has got me excited. trying to pick up the issues tomorrow at my local shop, keeping my fingers crossed they have them.

@gtrman - Dec. 15th - the graphic novel comes out then. there is no collected edition anywhere - that dude's a liar - you can read the single issues though....and then just call it a graphic novel...like some weird ass...

Whatever you do Leee, don't call this movie the "sleeper hit" of the year!

I finally watched G.I.Joe and really wanted to like it, but just couldn't, it sucked so hard I could barely make it too the end.

LEE: Yup, I've looked on various comic book sites, eBay and even sites like Amazon and I cant find anything other than fourth or fifth printings and they're all expensive as hell!
